Swansea H Wed 2nd 1945

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Back to back losses.... I'm sensing jadedness. A 0-0 and then a 2-0 spanking on Saturday leaving us 8 points adrift of our mates down the Rd and 10 off Leicester. An exit from the FA cup, then a loss and a draw against WH & City before we come out on top in a desperate winner takes all battle for 4th. New contract for Wenger, all eyes on the Euro's and 2 new signings, both midfielders... Wilshire & Carzorla... taking our creative midfield contingent to fifteen. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Flappy plays a blinder? If you mean that he is blind in goal, then I'd agree. Remember his flap in the away fixture gifting a goal to Kos?

When the chips are down, Wenger always pulls a result out of the bag. This is that fixture. Please no Walcott. I'd rather see a front three of Giroud, Sanchez, and Welbeck.

Yes but it will be one of those 'blinders' in the style of the Hull keeper last weekend where he only really has 1 or 2 difficult saves to make, and spends the rest of the time flying around making average saves look difficult. Our bores can't create enough clear chances for a keeper to have a blinder these days

We lose this and then at Spurs and Wenger will be under bigger pressure than he has ever faced before

Can't see how you work that out mate - wishful thinking, which of course I understand. We were 18th after 3 games at the start of 2011/12, 13 points behind Spurs in February when Twitcher was there, slumped to 5th from 1st in March 2 years ago after Everton handed us a 3-0 thumping at Goodison

People forget all this and more and always say "if he loses this one or that one". The reality is that he's still 7 points above 5th placed Man Ure who still have to go to the Etihad, the Shitole, Upton Park and have other tough games including Leicester and a two legged game against the Mickeys in the Thursday night cup. We're still on course for the top four which of course is all that matters as ever....let the exec boxes sell out once more, and the contract extension will be drawn up again

If we don't get a result against Swansea and Tottenham beat West Ham. Kiss goodbye not only to ST Totts day but the harsh reality that lot could win the league
After the NLD the gap could be 8 points
