THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Guess who just said that? :banghead:
It's Wengers job to manage the mentality of the squad. Does he just take things one game at a time?

Actually when you think about it, it's worse. Wenger is the most successful coach/manager SS employees. :banghead: He gets in the top 4 every year, really the CL is like the playoffs to Stan. Luckily I love a beer or else that would drive you to drink. So a quick question after 1400+ pages, why would Stan sack his most successful manager who makes him a shit load of cash? After all others would be in the firing line before AW.

PS sorry to depress anyone. if you have a good answer I'd like to know

One of the worst things from the weekend was the point that Wrighty mentioned on MOTD. Wonga came out and said he 'can't fault the desire or commitment'.

In one sentence it tells you that the man has no idea, no clue what is going on out on the pitch, he has no contact with reality whatsoever. I actually believe Wonga now lives his days in a virtual world, winning virtual trophy's and signing virtual Cristiano Ronaldo's and other superstars. Whilst the reality is, he searches worldwide, 24hrs a day for 9 months to sign Elneny, that super super quality player to take us to the next level.

Aren't football fans stupid!! Throwing away money funding this myopic narcissistic dictators greed and old age pension!

Hitting back at yesterdays press conference Wenger said we had leaders"all over the pitch". When asked to name them he declined but "reiterated that we have leaders in every position". There you go folks, end of discussion, nothing to see here, please move along. That's how it is for us, Wenger says it, nobody questions it, and on we go...... Should he contradict himself in a weeks time, the original quote will not be mentioned :banghead: :banghead:

According to this mornings papers, he also asked them to name another english club that has qualified for europe for 20 consecutive seasons - he then followed it up by saying that there is none  The man is like his braindead disciples......busy living in the past   :censored:

Shame they didn't ask him how many times an English club has won the damn thing in the last 20 years and how many times Arsenal has one it - none.

Why doesn't someone ask Arsehole Vermin that qualifying for a competiton 20 times in a row and failing to win it 20 times in a row is not something for the despicable piece of shit to be constantly bragging about :banghead:

I will absolutely revel in the demise of this pathetic old bastard and the bloodier that downfall the better. And it WILL get bloody because he won't leave like the honourable, dignified man the sheep paint him to be, he will finger point and blame and kick and scream his way out of the building.

That will be the greatest of great days - the day we finally rid ourselves of that *word censored* :barscarf:

So many players suffer 'setbacks'.
Just read that. The club needs a sweep out from top to bottom. Starting with Stan, then Wenger, Bould, the entire medical team... then move on to the likes of Mertersacker,Arteta, Ramsey, Walcott, Giroud, Ox, Rosicky...... Even if we only get 30/40m for the lot, the new manager will have over 100m to spend. Get a good DM, a top class striker with a back up (and keep Welbeck perhaps) and a couple of decent CH's for that.

I wish, we cannot even get rid of Wenger never mind the rest.......

the Champions League is a nightmare for this football club.
what is the point of qualifying for a competition where EVERY season we know we will get humiliated in the last 16 by a team which is actually run and managed like a top side should be :cussing:
