As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Wenger's credibility on making comments on football matters went out the window with the famous '30 years in football' comment.
I'm not an f'ing pilot but i'm damn sure i can tell if someone is flying a plane badly!
Not sure any of us can claim to have worked 30 years in football but i played it for over 20 years and have experience in training and coaching at various levels so i'm pretty sure i have some idea of how it works.
I'm also fairly sure the journos and pundits he derides and sneers at have some idea about sport too, whether we agree with them or not, but in his arrogance only his opinion matters or is right!
Mind you i'd love him to make a crack like that at the Big Red Nosed one or even Fat Sam and see who had the redder nose afterwards!!
Note to mods the highlighted bit is not me wishing harm to OGL, honest
Fucking moronic substitution to take our best player on the night Campbell instead of - for example - Sanchez who was having another complete and utter stinker.
Ridiculous decision to bring on our brightest player from the last few games Welbeck out wide.
No idea how to change things at all as like Sunday we spent the last 15 minutes barely able to string together two passes whilst bang average opposition coast to a victory.
Offers nothing other than complaining about every decision with the linesman and fourth official.
And summed it up at the end by gracelessly gesticulating towards Swansea because their management team was celebrating a huge win rather than making it their first priority to worship at his altar.
Always somebody else's fault - could be the woodwork's, almost certainly the referee's but I have a sneaky feeling he is going to have a dig at the fans tonight. Already shown the last few days that the criticism has got to him and if a journalist brings up the prolonged booing he won't be able to resist.
In the grand scheme of things, he has one year to go in his contract. So I dont see the point in him sticking around another year, for what will be no different than the previous 12 years.
Its simple really, unless he finds a way to win the league this season, then he needs to resign.
I dont want him spending money, and signing the likes of Walcott and Giroud to bumper new contracts.
He needs to be rationale, and say to himself, that if he cant beat Liescter City and Tottenham in a title race, then I probably wont be doing it against City, Chelsea or Man United.
Im not even angry, as I just have this realised low expectations of Wenger. I dont hold him in high regard, and I dont expect him to succeed.
But logically speaking, why give Wenger a dead rubber year in 2017?
Lads. You all need to calm down and take it easy. Thankfully, our real fans down at the Emirates like BDB have patience and "are just there to enjoy the occasion". It isn't about winning and losing. The Swansea keeper had a complete blinder and you can see the team and players gave absolutely everything. You cannot fault their spirit or commitment. Next summer with £115m Arsene will spend BIG and make the required changes. Not the time for knee-jerk reactions, any team in Europe woulda struggled against a financial powerhouse like Swansea. Don't forget, our team is "full of leaders", and we are still in the title race!
I can't wait until the PR Department release more news stories about the gazillions Arsene will be spending over summer!

Hooking a younger Chamberlain who was tormenting Man U a few years back for Arshavin ( The Van Judas shrugging of shoulders game) and promptly conceding as lazy arsh refused to track back is also a runner for that worst sub title but yeah, hear you
Not a fucking chance will he walk whatever happens. Not unless there was a complete turning on him by fans at the Bowl in which case he wouldn't be able to resist slagging them off when pressed by journos, and he would burn a lot of his loyal bridges. But we all know that it won't happen, disquiet is only ever one decent result away from being pacified at our place.
We will probably hear about how he nearly decided to quit after the Swansea game when we are top in November - as though that would have been ludicrous and highly damaging. Anybody who believes his comments that he would probably have gone had we lost to Hull is naive in the fucking extreme.
Really hope he gets asked about the booing because he won't be able to help himself with his arrogant, condescending bollocks.
BBC reporting that he has said 'we were unlucky and the game changed on two bad decisions!' Utterly unbelievable, condescending bullshit! GET OUT PLEASE!
