Yes, what the fuck was that about and then looked impatient because the Swansea bench were not quick enough to get over to him..

Is all year Giroud says he is up for being the main striker, and reassures fans the club doesnt need a striker, then in the most important phase of the season, goes 10 games without a goal. This is the worst goal scoring season since George Graham was manager. It shows how much we rely on Sanchez, because with him out of form, no one is there to pick up the slack. Walcott, Giroud, Chamberlain, Ramsey - 17 league goals between them which is shocking.

Is Wenger livid with Giroud, for backing him and being let down? Probably not, as Giroud is a yes man thankful to be playing for Arsenal, and will never rock the boat.
Danny and Joel have 5 between them and have played a lot less than those mentioned above..... not sure what that tells us though, maybe being fringe players with a bit of desire doesn't impress AW?

I did. And thats the arrogance and dismissive attitude that has us in the hole.

Wenger is so arrogant, that when you criticize him, he doubles down in an effort to prove you wrong. Call Almunia sh.. - Wenger will back him to prove you wrong. Doubt Giroud - Wenger will back him to spite you.

He can no longer ask for the fans support, as he has been supported unconditionally for years on years. The onus is on him to deliver to Arsenal fans. And as his sarcastic thumbs up suggests - he doesnt acknowledge the fans frustration.

I always doubted really getting aggressive with Wenger, such as last season in the away trip to Stoke - I thought the abuse he got was in poor taste. But if he wants to play that game of not taking seriously, the fans dismay, then the gloves are off and he deserves to be targeted personally.

Wouldnt calss Danny or Joel as fringe TBF, maybe Arsene does, but would start them both- almost first outfield names on the sheet after Ozil and the full backs atm for me.

Good response from the fans tonight. Booed at the right times, made him look a *word censored*. Taking off Joel Campbell? Just piss off.

Wenger on SSN now , "performance alright..unlucky..foul on first goal..have to respond..still can't believe foul wasn't given on first goal..very unlucky in in that decision..lacked confidence in front of goal.." Cech and Kos out of NLD

The penny might actually drop fro AW that if he couldn't win it this year, he's never going to. Of course he could stay on for another year - he wont get pushed. But he must know that next year he runs the risk of finishing 5th or 6th or even much worse. AW's whole legacy is built on "look at all this stability/CL football" and throwing that away in his (probably) last season might seem a bit reckless, even for him. So he could walk at the end of this season and say " We didn't quite achieve what we wanted but the clubs in great shape, 4th place and money in the bank, best of luck to the new boss". Or he could effectively take the club down with him in his last year in charge.

aaron ramsey is the number one reason (other than Wenger) why we suck. just watch him while re-watching the game (if you can manage). what is our record since losing Cazorla?

The bloody fool. No one wanted to ever get on his back and he could've left after Hull with a big round of applause, after Villa with a big round of applause but why the fuck keep going, you're not going to get the perfect send-off and you're just fucking it up.

If Campbell and Welbeck don't start on Saturday then I feel for both of them. Campbell scored a lovely goal and ran his bollocks off AGAIN, tracking back every time. Welbeck came on and TBF ran and at least tried. Giroud missed an absolute sitter, there was no need to hit it that hard when he could've just placed it. God I fucking hate them.

Just coming back from the match.
Never in over 30 years of supporting the Arsenal have I been so embarrassed to be an Arsenal fan.
The team is just not there, we are going through the motions, there is no fight, nothing.

Wenger is finished, everyone in that stadium knew that tonight.
It is just a question of how much longer he can keep clinging to power.

i always said caz was not quite good enough. but boy have we missed him

AW always gets out of jail when hes at his lowest, i can only hope he gets out of jail in the nld as thats his only ticket left re the fans turning.

i only hope that so we stop scum winning league. if there was no danger of them winning it, i would consider taking a defeat in the forlorn hope of it ending wenger

Yep - hope he gets asked about the booing because he will undoubtedly come out with a sarcastic condescending response.
That is the action of a man who does not give a solitary fuck. Hound him out.
