Re: Jack Wilshere
Player approaches return from injury, player suffers setback, player out for extended period of time
MASSIVE FUCKING YAWN
Even the medical team are as boring and predictable as the rest of Turnip's bottle jobs.

Re: Jack Wilshere
I odnt care what anyone says. Jack is a player we need to keep. He fights, both metaphorically and literally, and wouldn't be the type to capitulate under pressure.
Jack cares, and is one of us.

Re: Jack Wilshere
I will say that wilshere's attitude is a million times better than the w*nkers playing for us most of the season, BUT that is a moot point if he never/rarely plays

Not a lot of use from the treatment table is it?Wilson wrote:I odnt care what anyone says. Jack is a player we need to keep. He fights, both metaphorically and literally, and wouldn't be the type to capitulate under pressure.

This season proves exactly why we don't need to keep him - just like every season since 10/11 he hasn't really had an impact.

Well, how do you get rid of a player on the treatment table? And if your talking about letting his contract expire - thats just a non-starter.
We talk about wanting players who care, and players wanting to fight, and Jack is one of those players.
Were going to need to play the long game here, because Wenger will be harder to get rid off than the smell of curry. Its going to take years to iron out the soft mentality and loser attitude Wenger has facilitated, so why not be patient with Wilshere - because he will be part of building a new mentality in this Arsenal team for years to come.
He should be captain if you ask me.
God knows what Wenger will do with the captaincy next season, given his last choices for the arm band. I can see him giving to to Walcott.

And wasn't Wilshire involved in some of our capitulation shit? Absent player elevated to status beyond the reality syndrome.

i'm starting to miss him...
which is only natural, he hasn't featured for over a year, therefore i can't blame him for the current shambles on the pitch. needless to say he would have given a lot more than ramsey and flamini have in the past couple of months. obviously he'd have picked up another injury by now had he been fit, but oh well.

You could have been posting the same thing about patience and playing the long game 2 or 3 years ago mate. His injury record is getting no better, it's astoundingly bad.Wilson wrote:northbank123 wrote:Not a lot of use from the treatment table is it?Wilson wrote:I odnt care what anyone says. I wish Wilshere could stay fit and fulfil his potential, he was a great player when he burst through in 2010/11 and at his best he is the sort of tenacious character we could do with. But we have to be realistic here and the notion that someday soon he is suddenly going to get fit and put these injury problems behind him is frankly absolute fantasy at this stage.
Might as well give him the armband for all the fucking value Wenger places on it, he can wear it around his house.

Re: Jack Wilshere
For me the problem with Jack isn't attitude. He's a fighter, we can all see that. The problem is that his end product hardly ever matches up to his attitude. He doesn't score enough, doesn't provide enough assists, he overplays things, always looking to go past that extra man and take that extra late touch that invites the tackle that usually puts him back on the treatment table for months.

Re: Jack Wilshere
Plus he's just too small and slight for this league
Could/should injury prone midgets play in the centre of the park (AM/CM/DM)? Wouldn't he better off on the wing?
Anyway, I dislike the little shit.

Re: Jack Wilshere
Tbh i like the little shit, but he is far too injury prone!!
That should have been coached out of him early if someone in his management/coaching team had pointed out what he was doing wrong instead of repeatedly let him do the same thing and get injured time after time.

Re: Jack Wilshere
The Oirish posters on here would disagree and clearly favour Elneny, Ramsey or Flamoney in that position.....all obviously much more committed to the cause !Henry Norris 1913 wrote:i'm starting to miss him...

Oh well hopefully Glenn Whelan or Wes Hoolahan will become available soon and solve all our problems !

Can't wait to have him back
