It's happened to us before under Wenger and nearly happened in 89. Happened to Manure in 98 (I know we had games in hand).

I still reckon Citeh will hit form and win it. Enough of their squad have bee there before to deal with the pressure. We'll finish 2nd or 3rd with Leicester taking 2nd or 3rd and the scum will finish (depending if they drift out or have a cataclysmic collapse) somewhere between 4th and 7th with chavs, manure and saints somewhere in there too.

And that really shows what a poor PL it has been and how winnable it could have been for us if we had a top manager. :|
Difference is this season they not being stalked by obvious title contenders, no Chelsea pool or manu, a very inconsistent man city with players who know they getting a new manager, leisceter who we all know will fade....and us, the bottle bank
Possibly. But the real difference this year is they are being spoken of as real contenders. They (none of the scum's current squad) have ever been in that position with the scum and that is what will break them.

TBH I'm more concerned about NEXT season. We'll still have the same inept manager and the same spineless players and the scum (if they can hang onto Pochettino) will all be a year older and wiser and more experienced (and will probably strengthen in the summer). I don't think they'll win it this year or finish ahead of us this year - and I don't think they will win it next year (all of citeh mousers chavs and manure will strengthen this summer) but I think they will probably finish ahead of us next season. :|
Disagree db. This is it for them. The big 5 surely won't be as crap next year. Spurs have done ok. Plodded along consistent, awful lot of luck both with injuries and in general. They are a group of decent players. No one great or outstanding (maybe kane if he keeps it up for a few seasons). They will not and cannot pay big wages to attract the next level of players that the biggest clubs can and do (and we should but don't wasting it on crap) to take them to the next level and you say they will all be one year older better, but the defence ain't going to get better alli may continue to develop and kane but that's all. Dier is a lump, disciplined but that's all (shame we don't have disciplined players). Absolutely nothing special in him. They have a new stadium they are struggling bug time to fund in the city.

Even if they win it. Next year they will be back fighting for 4th as ever. Winning will help them finance the stadium though through the attention that would get.

I hope no-one here now is going to be naive enough to celebrate any more dropped points by Leicester.

They need to win all their games and hopefully we can nick a point in the NLD derby to help out.

Don't care how smalltime that sounds either.

There is absolutely no shame in hoping anyone but the scum win the PL. Where this holier than thou attitude in the modern fan came from I'm fucked if I know.

Agree with the sentiment mate but it's sad that we have been reduced to supporting the likes of Leicester because our players are passing up by far the easiest PL title to win in history.

Their choke has started a bit later than ours. Both in the race for 4th with the Shammers and the Plastic Mancs. At this rate Stoke will win the league

The treble winners elect of a couple of weeks ago seem to have let their crown slipped a little.....hope some of their fans on here didn't lose too much money on it. Never mind lads, I'm sure Dele Alli is still in line for the Ballon d'Or and we all know the title's in the bag. The genius in charge seems to have mastered European football too

Just short-sighted in my book to play weakened sides in the cup competitions.

Although they have a paper-thin squad and are only there or thereabouts because of no injuries at all, the best thing to do would have been to power through and hope their momentum and luck continues.

You can't expect to get dumped out of the FA cup (which they haven't won in a quarter of a century) at home to one of the worst sides in the league at the moment, and get humbled in Europe and for that to have no impact on PL form.

They have the new Alan Shearer in Harry Kane. This guy will run Shearers premier league record of 260 very close.

Whilst we accept Giroud.

Sadly, they are better than us. Lets not kid ourselves and be as blind and delusional as Wenger. Spurs have surpassed us and will finish above us this season.

Hope Leicester don't get done by the new manager effect tonight.

They play before Tottenham mostly now so hopefully that's to their advantage.

Can't help but think that undeserved Danny Welbeck goal could end up doing the unthinkable.
