Scum Away 5th March 2016

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Were there ever sadder hopes going into a NLD? We will be cheering for the diminished chance of Spuds grabbing the title, rather than the victory itself, is it so? Now wait, it sounds like something has just gone 180 degrees here :suicide:
An abscense of St. Totteringham's Day should result in fines for the entire squad, isnt that in the contracts??

Any word from the man himself after last night's debacle? I'm hearing that he and Ty stayed back to lead a chorus of TO1AW while all the other ungrateful bastards shuffled away in a chorus of booooos. 8)

I don't think the others do. I hope Henry and Pires are around that first team squad at the training ground leading into this one. If only Keown and Adams were allowed to have a say.
In 1986/87 we had a great manager

Wenger will probably manage to get the lads up for this, even in his arrogance he must realise things are awry and his ego wont stand for that.

Never felt so torn over a result in my life, can't stand for us to lose it but if we win what little pressure there is is off Wenger again :banghead:

Pochettino has TOF's number. Who doesn't, FFS? :? :(

I concur 8)

That is usually the way :banghead:

I still hope we beat the scum though :barscarf:

Whether it's spending, recruiting, scouting, whatever- it has to be looked at and resolved! We can chat all day about negatives, but it is essential that going into a new world financially for EPL in particular, it is ESSENTIAL that we recruit the RIGHT player, regardless of the amount. Can Wenger instigate a 'new wave' for Arsenal- one where we win things again?
Seriously are you out of your fucking mind??? Wenger is the problem, the ENTIRE problem. HE needs to go, then we can start rebuilding. Asking him to buy players is like giving an alcoholic £100 and sending him into the pub for a bag of crisps.

I seriously think Wengers brain has gone...after the booing he was doing a thumbs up FFS??

What was all that about?

Doubt if he will even speak to them, let alone "get them up" for this one.....they are going to get stuffed

You're forgetting that once again the VT is beginning to come under threat, he can't allow that so it's nothing to do with the fact we're playing the Spuds but what's behind which will motivate Wenger now

Historically that is what kicks starts the end of our season, it just seems it may be a bit earlier this year :barscarf:

I think we might win this before predictably crashing and burning in one of the "easier" games but a loss won't change anything because Wenger's position is unassailable.

I desperately want us to win this, but I know the joy would last all of five minutes until AW trots out his 'mental strength' bollocks and flashes his get out of jail card.

Perhaps not (this time)

I just hope we don't get raped 8 - 2 style.

If ever there was a game when Falkirk should declare "they are shite....we are shite" etc then this would truly be it. A Spud supporting mate of mine even reckons they've bottled it on the evidence of last night

5th March 2016 - The Battle of the Bottlejobs

It'll probably be a shitey draw and hopefully Leicester will embarrass both sides and go further clear in the worst ever PL

If we're not going to win this, break Kane's leg and fuck up that keeper of theirs.
