THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He really is becoming an embarrassment, when you turn on the people who have supported you no matter what, the AKB fans and Thierry now, then you really have lost the plot and it's time to go.

Shame he is protected by the media so much and his own ego wont accept him resigning :banghead:

Imagine he came to us, spent all the money (that is undoubtedly there), won us major honours, fell out with the board and then fucked off under a cloud.

Id take that all day long. Wouldn't you?
I don't think your favourite owner would want to make that move.....I mean imagine, he might actually have to invest a few bob and challenge for the title......and we all know that isn't a sufficient return on investment
Stan is that far removed I dont think he wouldnt even realise Wenger had gone.
And as for the money? Theres money to spend, loads of it. Always has been. Mourinho wouldnt be long gettin rid of the money.

Never gonna happen but Id take Mourinho and all his baggage over Wenger and his baggage.

It really is mad Führer in the bunker syndrome now. Everyone is wrong but him. I have a vision of him sitting in some basement in his home watching footage of us winning the league at OT in 2002 and thinking it's happening live. I won't be surprised if he tries to hand in a team sheet tomorrow with Seaman, Dixon, Vieira, Edu, Wiltord and Kanu on it whilst Steve Bould and Vic Akers try to convince him that that was 14 years ago before both being sacked for insubordination. Gazidis will be nervously making phone calls to other managers in the background to see if they can take over, the club doctor will be reaching for the needle and sedatives and Chips Keswick will be happily going on about how great it is to be living in England during the reign of King George VI.

One is a multiple CL winner. One isn't and never will be. Easy choice :high5:

Indeed. I think that TOF is living the film Downfall whenever he rants to his flunkies

God forbid he'd give our underachieving players any (well justified) shit. We couldn't have that, could we?

All Thierry did was state the obvious. Yet Wenger seems to take exception to it.

Wenger even pushed back against Sanchez's claim the players lack hunger.

So the clubs greatest ever player, and current best player can clearly see massive problems, yet Wenger seems to refute both and almost dares to claim nothing is out of the ordinary.

Does he really believe the fans are not furious?

Wenger is in denial. One of the reasons he has never been able to fix our problems, he is denies them in the first place. He is so aloof from reality it defies belief.

He is a business man - to him We ARE a Business - nothing more, nothing less - He doesn't look for the results - He looks at the balance sheets...what's the latest rise & fall in his share prices - He's a *word censored*. and I want him and Wenger GONE!.

Wenger 'takes exception' to everything, anything and anyone who dare even hint at challenging him and his way of doing things........He has started using a new term/word this season during interviews - when asked a question that isn't fawning all over him and going along with his delusional plans.....You can see it in his face and hear it in his voice when he replies to those questions we would all love to ask him......

'Look' he gets all prickly and pikey - Ceeeeuuunnt.

I would love to see Jacqui Oatley do a one on one interview with the *word censored* - in a no holds barred type Live telecast - tie the fecker to a chair so he has to stay and respond.

Previously every question answered began with :"I believe ..."

These days it's: "Look! ...."

very condescending/patronizing.

Im already hearing stories about Wenger and next season, and an apparent 75m to spend.

I dont care about money and how much we have to invest. However the idea of Wenger having another season is mind numbing.

Aren't we about due the annual party political broadcast about how we will be spending big next season and just before season ticket renewal prices are announced? Doesn't that happen around April or May? Even the most loyal of his fans must be able to see through this bollocks.

Remember in January Wenger telling us that he predicts "a very busy January". Pure fabrication.
