Recently i read Wenger had £200m to spend apart from Ronaldo and Messi. We could sign anyone.

Now we are told Wenger now only has £70m. Where the fuck did that £130m go to.

No idea where you read Wenger had £200m to spend but it's clearly nonsense. I wouldn't believe it mate.

I think the £200M figure came from the club accounts, not all of that would be the transfer budget, of course.

They've done this before; when the summer 'warchest' ( ) ends up much smaller by January even if we signed hardly anyone.

I said this during the week... if we got shot of a lot of the crap we have and he had 100m (maybe not him but somebody at the club), we could get a top striker (Welbeck as a back up perhaps??) a really decent defensive midfielder and 2 decent C/h's.Forget about him trying to unearth cheap gems. How many more Sanogo's, Eleny's, Kallstroms...... do you want to see???

If I remember correctly he could have got Cahill for about 10m originally, he dithered until the price virtually doubled, then balked, dithered some more, frowned, scowled and turned away as he sloped off to chelsea.
