Also says they have no chance of the title due to difficult away games

Seems like Merson's on the same page as us. He's right as well, Wenger is looking past this annoying fixture to the big bright lights of the Nou Camp where we still have an infinitesimal chance of going through. Even glorious defeat with honour will have him purring contentedly before he heads home to resume what is almost certainly going to become a titanic battle for 4th.The man is borderline insane, his priorities completely skewed. He knows how to get 4th though, so I'm expecting some quick fire losses putting to bed any hope of trophies before the pressure free unbeaten run begins :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

That statement was on ssn this morning in a response to a question asking his feelings on the banner last Tuesday night - he spoke for a few minutes along the lines of what you said above, but he NEVER responded to the question he was asked so we don't know whether he agreed with it or not

Tbh I cant blame him for not answering the question, considering when he was outspoken after the Anderlecht game last season, Wenger lashed out at him. He probably doesn't want to see Wanker looking to drag his name through the mud.

If we win by 2 clear goals Walcott will be telling us that even Barca will have sat up and taken notice....

Wemb-er-lee......Wemb-er-lee.......We're the famous Arsenal and we're going to Wemb-er-lee

I know its not cool anymore and I'm sure Capital L and his shandy drinking buddies have got much bigger dreams of Lionel signing their pencil cases in the Nou Camp, but it still gets me going

Three in a row......

3 in a row
3 more years

I might have to invest in a new BBQ for that double celebration

Winning a competition with 748 teams entering always looks nice in the history pages. :barscarf: :barscarf:
I agree that i'd love for us to win the FA Cup again for 3 in a row but id also be devastated for it will probably mean another 4 years of Wenger (we need a torn emoji)

Such a conflicting season because i can't see us being rid of Wenger if we win anything but still can't accept not winning something :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Doesn't this one fit: :?

Anyway, if we are to be cursed with TOF's continued presence for the rest of his natural, we might as well do the three in a row. We might as well win the only trophy we can win. Although TOF clearly has bigger fish to fry with a reaming from UEFAlona to prioritise :banghead:

Really looking forward to it too. If we beat Watford then any of the teams left in would make for a great occasion for both semi-final and final. Personally would like to get Palace, knock them out and then beat Man Ure on penalties in the final again.....was fucking great last time round....last FA Cup I went to down in Cardiff. A proper piss up followed by endless piss taking of the Mancs. Remember (somewhat ironically given our ownership) that Gooners were chanting U-S-A to the Mancs as Glazer had just taken over and indebted the club. Little did we know what would follow

Jesus, can you imagine being told that day in Cardiff that in 2016 Wenger would still be Arsenal manager! - you'd be delighted and would assume we'd continued to play powerful, skillful football for the next decade and winning a truck load of trophies along the way :(

Arsene out! How has it come to this :(

Amazing how it turns out. After the game I met up with a work mate who's a Manc and they were in despair......Chavski won the league, we won the cup, the Glazers were in and the debate about whether Fergie should have retired was in full swing

9 trophyless years followed for us, whereas they won titles and a European Cup.

Still I don't remember them ever winning the 4th place trophy or holding the self-righteous, moral high ground though.....so it was all well worth it
