THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bloody over-demanding Arsenal fans, expecting us to beat Watford pfffft.....the battle for 4th begins here!
Now hands up who ever saw this coming? Falling outta all competitions and going from a 2-horse PL race to struggling for 4th?

Be careful what you wish for
Who else could you replace him with
Arsenal fans demand too much
Our business model is excellent

See you all next season for Groundhog Day Year 13

Ian Wright - any criticism of Wenger would be very harsh and he can't really be blamed for today.

Loved the player but the bloke is thick as pig shit and needs to engage his paltry brain before speaking. The guy would rather slag off our fans than accept any serious criticism of Wenger. Wrighty wouldnt have put up with this sort of shit if he was still playing - just like Keown and others - yet they can't see that from the comfort of their media career and corporate benefits.

Such horse shite. You can't blame the manager, just the players? Who fucking repeatedly picks those players? Who refuses to sell them and replace them with better? Loved Wrighty as a player but as a pundit he is exactly like the rest; just keep it nice, don't offend anyone you might meet at a junket or corporate golf day. Fuck off.

wrighty spends most of his time abusing fans and critisizing our players than daring to go against clueless

puts it in context that some akbs really do love arsene more than Arsenal. have to say i have been fuming last couple of days with the media backlash against the banner and wrighty's bullshit at hull, but today this is something else. feel absolutely let down by everyone connected with the club, apart from the wobs.

just go arsene ffs :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Ian Wright is an Arsenal Legend. However. I wouldn't trust him to analyse a kids' playbook with the bollocks he's spouting these days. What does Wenker have incriminating pics of you Ian? As a player Wrighty was fierce as an ox. As a pundit he's as spineless as one of Giroud's pelvic thrusts

Ian Wright is a fucking idiot.

Also, he didn't have the bollocks to stand up for Wenger when Piers Morgan was berating him on Fletch & Sav last week. Merely went home and started abusing Arsenal fans behind the safety of his keyboard.

Complete tosser, if you ask me.

the real sad thing is the defeats no longer hurt, you half expect it and they no longer matter anyway as the wins don't lead us to anything anymore, why are we even in business as a football club, its beyond me

That was our 13th defeat of the season today, with a 14th to follow midweek. And there's still two months of the season left.

Wenger out.

In hindsight, it was the 8-2 wasn't it?
That was a man out of touch with reality.
What would Barcstads, Real, Munich, Juve, CFC have done in that situation with their coach?

Wenger: "We want to make the impossible possible in Barcelona. It's important we go there with a strong side and fight." #AFCvWFC from Arsenal Twitter :D :D There are times you can only laugh because all else is gone...

Wenger; We did not make our possession in the final third count but we have shown that we can respond to disappointment." #AFCvWFC More from Arsenal Twitter
