THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Cech, Monreal, Kos, Bellerin, Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey (yes, even him), the Ox, Wellbeck. There's 9 who would definitely improve under a manager who knew what he was doing. I even think Wally would improve with proper coaching. Wenger cannot coach anymore, and they know it. The worrying thing is that he is SO stubborn, he just won't admit defeat and do the honourable thing and walk. Imagine a new manager adding a few players and winning the league? He won't let that happen.

OUR MANAGER HAS SPOKEN... LISTEN UP FOLKS

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "Our fantastic run has come to an end on a day where we felt that our performance deserved a win. Credit to Watford, they created few chances but took them all. It's sad because we gave everything.

"The players don't miss on purpose. You have to be realistic. Of course on the first goal, we made a mistake.

It wasn't possible to start Welbeck in fact medically he shouldn't have even played at all.

SO WHY BRING HIM ON AT ALL THEN????

Yeah, he looked well fucked medically when he created more chances in 10 minutes than the entire team did in the rest of the match.

I agree, he spouts any old shit to try and deflect blame - blatently ignores questions and just waffles a very vauge response.

There is no way on earth we deserved to win that match we were dogshit, until it was too late and even then we missed in the most comical fashion .

north korean propaganda machines take lessons from wenger and the club

"our fantastic record", love the way he gets that in early. Im seeing more and more shameless self promotion from him these days, everything he says is defensive.

Has he resigned yet or are the supporters going to have to force him out?
I think he will be gone by this time next week

Gone where? Fishing? Over the channel to commentate on a match? Up to the Diamond Club to pick up his extension?

From Pravda:
"on how difficult it will be to pick the players up…
It’s always difficult but it’s our job to prepare for the next game." When the fuck has he ever prepared for a game :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

"on confidence…
This had nothing to do with confidence. " :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

on how disappointing it is to be out of the FA Cup…
When we’re in it you [the media] say it’s only the FA Cup. You cannot say that it’s a disaster on the other end of the scale. <--NICE SPIN PRICK :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

ridiculous state of affairs.. what a mediocre life it is to be an arsenal fan fucking hell

Wenger said in the post match interview that we played well :banghead: , no wonder we have such a spineless team, when we have a manager who constantly makes excuses for shit performances, and goes as far as to pretend they didn't happen.

I think you'll find its deeply offensive
Still it's the most interesting attacking we get to see these days, beats donkey Giroud/Wankcott
