THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Block93 wrote:OK I show my dissatisfaction by not renewing my two STs come June, and what happens? Do they come knocking at my door, apologising for the pitiful performance on and off the pitch, and promise they'll do better?

Or will they ring up matey who is at number 12,456 in the ST waiting list and say 'good news pal, you're in'....

I wonder.

The whole thing is a shambles.

For those looking to make some money, how about a wager on Guardiola changing his mind? He never wanted to go to Manchester, and if they miss out on CL he has the perfect excuse not to. And then he could come to London, a nice house in Eaton Square would suit him whilst he busied himself in N5.
Pep can shove it up his pipe......I'm holding out for Stojkovic. The only man capable of extending this beautiful dream....

You're right maybe nothing will change. Therefore might as well just hand Stan another £1200 when that hotline rings!
Your money, your choice. It's just hilarious to keep seeing the "what can we do" literally a day after Stanley confirmed that ST holders and gormless loyalty are the cornerstone of his investment strategy. Amazing scenes.

Remi Garde for me. A true Arsene man, Arsene taught him everything he knows. Started talking about "spirit" a lot and can't believe those ingrate Villa fans are criticising him?! PEASANTS

The press are already full of the fans fighting amongst themselves. Truly a sad day when it comes to this

nutflush gooner and Block93 please remember that you are now part of a small elite group of people able to ensure that Mr Wenger still has a job. I am sure that you will whole heatedly support him once again this summer.

I can't figure it out myself but if you think that he is the best man for the job then fair enough.
Hope you enjoy next season.

3 consecutive home defeats for the first time in 14 years

Anyone know how long it has been since it was 4 or 5. Is our little record breaker going to hit another new low ?

I gave up my season tickets but for me that has to be each individual's own decision and they should not be judged for renewing even if I do acknowledge that it will be seen as a show of confidence in the current regime. I made the decision not to renew cos I was not going to contribute as much as one penny to le cock's £8.3m per season wages, and that was before wiggy started taking £3m per season too
As I said nutflush, the decision whether to renew or not has to be yours and should be respected - what I cannot agree with however, is your statement claiming that you support the club and not the manager and board. If you support the club then you would surely do what suits the club the most, and that without doubt is getting rid of manager and owner - if you say that you are renewing so that you don't get dropped back to the bottom of the waiting list then I can understand that, but saying that you renew because you support the club is (imo) a contradiction because renewing is keeping the same system in place and that is very bad for the long term future of our club

Wenger's but buddy John Cross saying on twitter it could be the end of Wenger, only days after the secret team meeting had supposedly saved the season. I know he is a pro Wenger wanker, but at least attempt to show a small bit of consistency :banghead:

"we can't be successful as a divided club. Negative reaction to our 4-0 win in Hull caused today's defeat." one gem from Twitter. What hope is there..? There is a lot of Anti Wenger sentiment on Twitter also...but the loyalists are more loyal than ever...

Blood? Nope, that'll be the bloody scent of Lord A-hole's rare bloody steak which he bought with a nice bottle of 87 Bordeaux to celebrate that new contract Ivan and Stan will be giving him...just you wait until it's strategically announced hot on the heels of thrashing relegated Villa 6-0 (Theo hat trick) on the final day!

Just as Marcus Rashford looked like Bergkamp hot on the heels of destroying us...before he reverted to a YTS kid against every other team since...

Ighalo hadn't scored for almost 600 minutes...gets his mojo back!
Shame nobody out there willing to do that for poor Giroud eh?
Guedioura hadn't scored a single goal...scores a rocket.
Southampton couldn't buy a win...4-0 concession
Mourinho couldn't beat anyone....standard 2-0 win
Swansea rest players to focus on Norwich game...3 points Swansea!

Anybody see Gabriel's pathetic defending for the Ighalo goal? I'll remind you that is the EXACT SAME mistake he made away at Norwich when he cost us the equaliser. Amy serious manager irons that out and it NEVER happens again. Good to see Wenker analyses the game

It's that point of the season again when I remind you that Giroud is earning more than Lewandowski and that Wally the Wankpot earns a lot more than Higuain :coffeespit:
£270k a week on them 2 c****. Unreal.

Wenker is smart as he's saddled the club with these 2 pricks, plus overpaid shite like Gibbs, Wilshere, Merteslacker, El-Nanny etc...honestly which club anywhere would touch that crock dross? If Simeone turned up next week he'd have to get rid of all the weak characters, which would basically leave Cech and Sanchez. That's it.

I pray that this is the start of the end but deep down we all know that just a couple of wins and a 4th place finish will have the flip-flopping media worshipping at The Old Fraud's altar once again.

Plus - if he goes but Kroenke stays, we will still be stuck in Groundhog Day cos the wig wearing parasite won't make the necessary investment.
