1-2 to The Whores. Or maybe 0-2 to the Whores. Who cares?

Meaningless game. :tumbleweed:
Disagree...probably the most important game of recent years because of all the differing repercussions off the field. A win secures wenger's place, a glorious defeat on goal difference, or an acceptably loss will keep the press off him till the end of season, a humiliating defeat would see the pressure from fans, press, and media reach magnitudes greater than the Jose at chavski.
I think your giving some of our fan-base a bit too much credit. If we get hammered then you will hear the typical excuses of how we cant compete with Barca, and that there's no shame in losing to the best team in Europe. The amount of fans yesterday who claimed that everyone was overreacting to one bad result :banghead:

Even if we lose by 2 or 3 Wenger will spin it that it was a decent result considering the ref/injuries/linesmen/4th official/pitch/kick-off time/fans/weather (delete as applicable) or failing any of those against the best team in Europe with greater resources than us :barscarf:

Just hope the cock. Leaves Bellerin, Monreal, Coq, Sanchez, Ozil and Welbeck back in London.

I'd go with Ospina, Chambers, Gibbs, Mertsacker, Gabriel, Flamini, Eleny, Walcott, Giroud, Campbell and Iwobi.

Just wondering, does anyone believe that he wont start with his strongest available team ?

Of course he will. Gives him an excuse for defeat at Everton then.

Sod it, how know's; maybe we'll win 3-1, progress and win the CL against all odds. I'll be watching it as always hoping for a miracle. :barscarf:

We'll go behind due to "special circumstances" (Barca scoring an offside goal, Suarez diving for a pen etc), which Wenger will use as the excuse for our 5-0 hiding.

Heurelho Gomes said it best. "Arsenal are a small team when playing big teams".

Its so true. We really are small time when stacked up against the big teams. Playing irresistible football and smashing some minnows only to get taught a lesson by a proper big boy.

Were bullies, like a kid who thinks he is tough because he pushed over a toddler, yet S ourselves when a bigger kid comes along.

I'm sure that there has only ever been 1 or maybe 2 teams who have overturned a home deficit in over two decades of CL football.

If our bunch of spineless no-hopers overturn a 2-goal deficit against the best team in Europe I'll move to Baghdad.

I've always been sceptical about predicting hammerings by Barca because for all their ability they have a tendency not to back that up on the scoreboard. Ther previous ties against us being fine examples. But I think this time might be different because we are in such a bad place and in our last two trips we had something to cling onto with a decent first leg result and the knowledge that if we stayed in the game past 65 minutes we had a chance because they use to tire horrendously from the hard pressing game they played more under Pep.

The mistake Clueless has made is saying publicly he wants to 'go for it'.
His best approach would have been to down play our chances, got it into Barcelona players heads that we are already a beaten team.
What his bravado has done is instead made them sit up and take this seriously.
I cant see them taking any prisoners.
