THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
This is how i'm handling the disappoint: these bunch of overpaid, posers dont deserve any winners medal.
Win,lose draw they get paid.
Watching your team is like attending a concert if singer sings offkey too bad -attend next concert.

The usual bollocks. Full backing, no prospect of being sacked, might go but will probably see out his contract which could then be extended. I also absolutely love the way he is putting the PR machine into full swing to blame the fans if he does go. He's making damn sure that the press and his luvvies know that it's the fans who wanted him out who will be responsible if he goes in the summer. The man is a total egotistical, narcissist who thinks we should all bow down and worship him. Didn't we go through all this nonsense back in 2008 when Redaction went on their love-in? Every time the *word censored* gets put under pressure, he puts his PR machine into action and plants stories about how he'll leave if people get nasty. Fuck off, you *word censored*. Don't blame us for your team being shit, for your own failings and gross negligence. How dare you turn round to us and tell us that the fans are the reason for the team under-performing. Have a look at yourself, take some responsibility for once and own up. Then just fuck off, you deluded old *word censored*.

No Probs..... this is where we'll come into our own, we tend to thrive on that kind of pressure. Come mid April, at the latest, we will have swept past them. All this reckless, irresponsible talk of wanting Wenger out will be long forgotten.Offside wrote:11 points behind Leicester.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
So Koeman said last night we are out of the title race. Out of the FA Cup. Barca to put us out of our misery tomorrow - so can anyone explain what Lord A-hole means when he says "judge me at end of the season"? He surely can't be referring to a "CL qualification place" now could he? The Guardian wrote a piece this morning about how Leicester fans wouldn't be satisfied with CL qualification alone this season. And to think our fans and players have been "celebrating" CL qualification for the past 12 years. Fucking embarrassment that Leicester are basically more big-time than us

Absolutely. Love the multiple press releases basically "threatening" to leave if the strong criticism doesn't stop!Perryashburtongroves wrote:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... oenke.html

Of course the last time he did this, Red Action had that famous love parade which gave us all mucho laughter and screwed the club for a further 8 years

However, if we get the mongs crawling out the woodwork after the standard "end of season when there's jack shit to play for" run....expect to see him here saying "I told you so" as he celebrates finishing 15 points behind PL winners Leicester

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
a good article in the Daily Mirror this morning
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ne-7555444
now I have made it perfectly clear that I would like Wenger to leave but I think this article is as good as any I have read about why he should be given the chance to at least see out his contract.
maybe as supporters we should all just take a step back sometimes and see things from another perspective.
I also still maintain Wenger is still a good manager - he is just not a very good one anymore who can take us to the next level again - AND THAT IS WHY HE SHOULD GO AT THE END OF THIS SEASON

Agree with all that BUT I have also maintained that the only way we will ever get rid of him is if the fans drive him out - it has been clear for a long time that he does not accept being questioned by fans, so if our fans stay the course and be brave enough to continue to voice their anger, then maybe we will finally drive the cu.nt back to france where he can spend his time banging as many rappers as he wants

It also needs to be said, that allowing the man to decide when he will quit will ensure that he will then move "upstairs" and remain in a position of power within our club - if the fans drive the crunt out, I believe that he will not want to stay working for an ungrateful shower of b*stards and will walk away altogether

I also meant to add that no matter of pr will fix this mess for him this time - if we put together a massive run of form between here and the end of the season, then maybe the flip floppers will drive back to the "lets give him another season" bollox, but otherwise the pr will not be able to hide the results and performances and he will not be able to turn the tide in his favour this time

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Another thing that the excuse makers forget when looking at Van Gaal/Pellegrini is that those guys are relatively new in the job. And the former has been working under quite frankly shit circumstances being replaced as he his by a "more desirable/better" employee at the end of the season. Can you imagine AW's team's performances if he knew he was effectively getting sacked a few minths down the line? AW has had years and years and years and years to build a title winning team, with the backing of a fully supportive board. And here we are 11 points adrift from Leicester City. Its laughable that anyone still defends it.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I predicted much earlier this season that the press boys are going to be on his case this season if he fails.
The way its turning out, with small clubs like Leicester & Spurs challenging for the title it has given them an even bigger stick to beat him with.
But if he rides out all this flak, the press will find a new target for next season, once a story becomes repetitive it is no longer the big story.
So the hope is they get their teeth into him like a rabid dog before the summer, then he might decide he has had enough.

I read this and it just sounds like the usual people saying how pampered that we are. The thing is that it willfully ignores many obvious failings and presents not a lot in the way of a pro-argument other than 'he really needs to change' which we know won't ever happen.Gunner Rob wrote:a good article in the Daily Mirror this morning

The big question is, is Arsene doing all that he can to make Arsenal successful? We know that he probably thinks that he is and is flawed with that logic, therefore, he must go.

I genuinely don't understand your flip-flopping? What difference is "one final season" going to make? He's had TWELVE YEARS to turn us into a European superpower and yet our CL record over the past 6 years is worse than Marseille, Shaktar and APOEL NicosiaGunner Rob wrote:a good article in the Daily Mirror this morning

He's had 12 years to build a title-winning team and has overseen a shit-show so inept that Spuds are going to finish above us whilst oil money Leicester blaze a trail we can't keep up with.
What I'm loving at the minute is the AKB excuses for Leicester "oh errrr well look Chelski, ManYoo and Citeh all failed too"
Hold on...for years AKBs told us we couldn't compete ourselves to Chelski or Citeh? Cos if it's OK to compare now, the easy question is to
A. Compare what Chavs, Citeh and ManYoo have won the last decade
B. What these clubs have done to the managers who finished below Leicester. Clue: all SACKED
What is the point of giving him "one more season"?! The club is divided, team is a mess, players heads dropped, fans fighting each other. Wenker's very presence is toxic and divisive. Why would you let this foul stench linger longer than necessary? What would it do for next season to see a bunch of bottlers knowing they're playing for a lame duck manager who'll be gone come summer? What motivation would any player have to sign for the club? Where will the existing players heads be?
Sorry but that's ah utterly ridiculous notion. If you want sentimentality then maybe catch a Jennifer Aniston movie. This Wanker has collected a cumulative £95million in salary for the past 12 years of shite, whilst telling the peasants to shut up and pay up for overpriced STs. He's shown no empathy or emotion with us, so he can fuck right off if he now expects it. He's finished and the sooner he can leave, the sooner a new man can come in and sort this shite.
That is unless of course, you want him to hang around long enough to put Meeteslacker, Flamini, Gibbs, Wally and co on fat new contracts the club will be lumbered with, in addition to signing more El-Nanny's next window

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Any c*nt advocating giving the senile pr*ck another season is a fu.cking loser in my book and is no good to god nor country
Are we supposed to just sacrifice another season for sentimentality reasons ? Will the club then decide to give all the season tickets to the fans free of charge for next season because the season is going to be all about arsene and not about ambition ? It is amazing that we (the fans) are expected to continue to fund this debacle season after season, and all because the man USED to be a good manager once

Its like sticking with a once perfect girl friend who now keeps cheating on you, you remember all the good times and you convince yourself to keep giving her one more chance, when she has promised not to stray again.Ikechukwu1 wrote:I genuinely don't understand your flip-flopping?
