That last stat is a bit harsh considering he was out for a season with injury. Talking of stats how about the scored 11 goals in last 14 starts?Wilson wrote:http://metro.co.uk/2016/03/07/rumour-we ... l-5738695/
God I hope its true. English players do go for premium prices and we should really take advantage.
I dont see Theo as striker, and Sanchez, Welbeck, Campbell, Chamberlain, Iwobi and possibly even Gnaby should all play ahead of him on the wing.
Theo is 26 - this is it for him, he has peaked and reached his glass ceiling. All he is, is a pacey wide player with a below average goal return 82 goals in 333 games for the club, which is 0.24 goals per game. And the problem for Theo, is thats all he can offer. All we can expect from Theo is goals. He cant contribute to the passing game given his ball control is horrible. He isnt Giggs or Pires - he has no vision, finesse, or passing ability. He is a two trick pony - pace and goals. and the goals arnt there, he showed promise 2013 when as a 23 year old scored 21 in all competitions, but since has scored 19 goals in 3 years.
Walcott has been wasted and pissed about on the wing. He was and should always have been played through the middle, as a striker. His is a career that has been wasted by a manager who played him out of position for most of his career.

As a player that he is now he has nothing in him. We should sell him in a blink of an eye if that opportunity comes for some reason. However I agree that he has been wasted at Arsenal and in proper coaching or under different manager he could've been / could be different player.Nos89 wrote:That last stat is a bit harsh considering he was out for a season with injury. First player out of the door for me come the summer, along with Arteta, Flamini, Rosicky, Mertesacker, Wilshere (if he cannot prove his fitness), Gibbs and Gabriel.

Personally, I'd add Ramsey to that list.fivetothree wrote:First player out of the door for me come the summer, along with Arteta, Flamini, Rosicky, Mertesacker, Wilshere (if he cannot prove his fitness), Gibbs and Gabriel.
Wilshere I'd give 2 more seasons - to see if he can come good. At that point I'd say it would be fair to cut our losses on him. TBH I don't think he will, but if we can give Diaby 28 years why not invest another 2 in Jack?

How do you work out that our best midfielder is replaceable?
If RVP and Walcott leave we will be left with only one world class player - Alex Song

Song was world class.

The position that I'll remember him in is with his head in the clouds, his foot in his mouth, his thumb us his arse and his arse on the treatment table.

A lot of us have a list of people that need removing from the club - usually containing Wenger, Kroenke and Gazidis - but for me, Walcott's right there on that list. As Henry's supposed "replacement" and the poster child / face of the Emirates Stadium, he typifies everything that's wrong with the club. When he leaves, I'll be fucking delighted. I'm outraged that the club has made this piece of shit a millionaire when he's done absolutely zero and isn't fit to wear the Arsenal shirt for even a day, let alone 11 fucking years.

The sooner he finds his level at West Ham or Newcastle the better.
Re: WALCOTT - which position is best etc?
Basically he said our "epic" win against Olympiakos (an average Greek side, who we should never have lost to in the first place) shows that you can never write Arsenal off.DB10GOONER wrote:Has Feo done his customary delusional pre-match bullshit interview yet?![]()

Nice to see Theo contributing fuck all again tonight.
Great chance to grab a goal and he has a heavy touch. Yawn, nothing new there then
