Barca bumholing Wednesday 1945

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can hear it now " well clearly looking at their sixth (just before half-time) we were focussing on the Everton game"

Yep good line up...surprise selection of Iwobi...but given their back four, our pace and power will test them...
Don't know what people on here are crying about...it's the squad we have...a lot of criticism for bfg, giroud, Walcott and Campbell on here so he starts without them and there is still criticism...beginning to think there is more non-supporters on here than actual Gooners...BTW think our bench is quite strong compared to theirs but if you've got messi, Neymar and suarez you don't need anyone else...an early goal for us could see a proper good match...gone for Champions League experience in the midfield and Coquelin's red card at the lane has cost him a starting place tonight. Sanchez time to prove those doubters wrong...
But it's not a good line up is it. Considering we were supposed to be competing with Europe's elite since our move to the hallowed new stadium, we should have a squad to match the very finest teams, not that shower, most of whom, arguably, would fit adequately in to a mid to lower league side in the Prem.

And then when we inevitably lose to Everton as well...

"Every game from now is a cup final. It's important that we respond well against Watford".

Newly-appointed club 'yes man' Ian Wright is already towing the club line on BT Sport by stating that Everton away on Saturday is our real big game of the week, and that tonight's not particularly important.
Wenger actually referred to the barcwhores front line as "Magicians" - How to inspire your own players and prepare them for a game that could leave both them and us emotionally & mentally scarred for years to come - just remember the 8 - 2 at old fartford.

I still go cold remembering that.

WENGER OUT! :box:

Wenger: "We lost the first game because we didn't take our chances. We've beaten Barcelona before".

Yeah, once in about thirty attempts!

Even when he was asked about the Barca game in the interview after the Watford game, his first line was, "Barcelona, the best team in the world..."

As if he has to qualify that and make excuses before we've even turned up.

No point crying about the squad tonight...wenger should've sorted it out before the season started...so, with the current squad of fit players, it is a good line up...consider Cech, Cazorla, Ramsey would certainly start if fit, and wilshere, rosicky and chamberlain would be on the bench if fit...but it is what it is...we still have Ozil, Sanchez who are world class, just need to show it. Wouldn't be surprised if Theo scores if he comes on...

Seems people forget a better Arsenal team than this current team, got routed by a Barcelona team that wasn't as good as this one at Wembley back in '99...if I remember we were favourites to win that after a draw in the Camp Nou...
