Spurs will definitely drop points - Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea still to come - aswell as Stoke and Southampton which could be banana-skins.

So if we get 3 tomorrow, then the dream is still alive.

To boot - now that we are out of all other competitions - we are now on an even keel with the Foxes, game/rest wise.

Gonna be tense tomorrow!

Gotta love that optimism!! After 11 years of utter shite there are still some believers.

No wonder Wenker's still in a job.

Usually I post my first 11 before games. However, Wenger is sucking the fun out of football, and I cant bring myself to include the likes of Theo, Giroud, Mertesacker in the first 11.

Fing Feo, the little S on 140k a week who has scored 80 odd goals n 10 years - averaging out to around 8 goals a season. Already got his 8 goals this season, playing 32 games. So 1 goal every 4 games from Feo.

Pires scored 83 goals in 6 years, and dont even get me started on the assists.

I dont understant why Wenger tolerated some players, given what he has had in the past. You have Henry and RVP for the bulk of your career - why settle on Giroud. Thats like drinking champagne all your life, then settling for cheap wine.

Doesnt Wenger remember the likes of Pires, Henry, Campbell, Cole, Vieira, Lauren, Adams, and compare to the current lot and just say to himself, they dont even compare!!!

What happened to Wenger?? He lost the fing plot big time.

Didn't he call the lot he had 2 seasons ago his best squad ever? And there were even some of his bum boys defending the risible utterance.

What a fucking hopelessly dire and cringeworthy state we've found ourselves in.

Justin Rose is going along nicely in Florida - only 3 shots off the lead.

I wonder if England can complete the grand slam in the egg chasing

I think we'd all be a bit embarrassed. It would be the equivalent of celebrating beating an old lady in an arm wrestling contest.

He buys them, they don't work out because they're crap, he sticks with them hoping they'll get better, he pays them more because they become so loyal to him (who wouldn't be???) and then he publicly supports them. He basically has to as they are now totally his responsibility..... so now we get told they are the "best" ever. Wenger said it, he's been managing for over a 100 years, what do we know, if you don't like it you can go swing.

Can you believe a couple of seasons back Walcott held as to ransom saying he would leave if he didn't get more money. WALCOTT!! The mind boggles as the blood boils :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

Hard to motivate oneself for this game...Looking forward to it but only in the sense that it is Saturday, I'm not working and it is on TV, I think if the Newcastle v Sunderland game was on this lunchtime I would feel the same.
Our season is broken, we could play well and win today or we could play rubbish and lose , hard to call and harder to see a long term significance on the result. Our season is broken , gone and the only glimmer of light and hope lies with other club's results.

You can pretend to play hard to get all you like but we both know you'll be pitching a semi on that glorious summer afternoon in May when a Walcott hatrick dispatches villa to the championship, Wenger embraces Remi Garde and announces a new 4 year deal and our glorious losers slink around on the lap shame after bagging the VT for the 17th consecutive season :barscarf:

As much as I love Arsenal with all my heart, I just don't care about the results at the moment. :|

Of course I want us to win but another defeat wouldn't ruin my weekend like it would used to.

It's like when you be seen a film 49 times before and it you don't react to anything in it because you know what is coming.
