As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What the hell is that in your avatar?
Imogen Thomas, of course
But your a homosexual? Shouldn't you have Ryan Giggs?
Giggs is too tall for him, the logistics wouldn't work
I'm also not gay and neither is he, so it's a case of no mutual attaction
Same can't be said about you two. Shame on you both for not including Mikey on your tryst!
So what you're doing is making the jokes we all make, but crossing out 'Simon' and writing 'Mikey' very carefully? I wouldn't back yourself... Mikey and Daz are gonna hunt you down
Oh fuck it the whole things too confusing. Just feel like this sometimes. Without the caption

This is just too funny. The similarities in more ways than one.
Just to add, in the information age, if you don't want things discovered and broadcast, just don't do them. Simple. Especially when you're one of the most widely popular and recognizable figures in 1. an entire country (Wales) and 2. on the most successful English football team in 20 years for... well, those 20 years.

Indeed. Plus of course the case is all about privacy and whether something is in the public interest. A lot of the time I would say that someone cheating on his wife is not anyones business apart from the parties involved, however in this case we are talking about a man who has made a lot of money over the course of his career through advertising etc, a lot of which has been paid to him because of the fact that, as well as being a top class footballer, he also has the "family man" image that companies want to project. His clean cut image has made him a boat load of money over the years, so I think it is in the public interest to reveal that, at least recently (but probably before), it has been a lie

Agreed 100%. He has made a good part of his fortune selling himself as a decent honest moral family man, but turns out to be a lying cheating arsehole that has betrayed his wife.
"Imogen who-o she gave Giggsy a call..and he expected her to say fuck all"....Man U team for Champions League Final...Van Der Sar..Raphael..Vidic..Ferdinand..Evra..Nani..Carrick. an unnamed premier league player..Valencia..Hernandez..Rooney.

Don't what to appear to be sticking up for the cheater, but I'm not sure that's true. It's not - as far as I'm aware, though kingjayson will no doubt let us know - like he was doing adverts or appearing in those shite womens magazines every month bragging about how happy he was in his marriage, or espousing a certain lifestyle or in fact doing any sort of moralising?
Yes, certain sections of the sports industry have built him up to some god-like status, but primarily it's through his onfield achievements and thus Giggs has made his fortune by his talents and what he's produced on the pitch, not how he's acted off it.
Was it in the public interest. Er, probably not. Were the public interested? You betcha! Lets face it, we all love a good gossip whether about a friend, neighbour, colleague.....footballer.....
But did we have any right to know about this....? Actually, when all things considered, the answer is probably no.....albeit that would have been a shame because it has been such good fun!
Tiger Woods was different in that he definitely did make money out of his clean cut image. John Terry was different as he was shagging a team mates girlfriend.
And lets face it, lets not get all moral about this. There is, statistically, a high probability that some of you criticising Giggs will have cheated on a wife/girlfriend/partner at some point in your life (or maybe will at some point in the future). And given the age/testosterone levels/wealth of a professional footballer then who amongst us can really say that we wouldn't also take advantage of the odd opportunity given that there will be no shortage of very attractive nubile young women making themselves available.....

Different when there are kids involved imo.
But, im not in the business of passing judgment on the promiscuity of others because frankly i dont care. I hope giggs is nailed to the wall because i hate man utd, i hate all the bleating about "giggsy and scholesy" as if everyone is best mates with these wankers and finally, im a petty bitter arsenal fan. I also take against talentless unproductive chancers like imogen thomas clogging up the public sphere. If she didnt want to be seen as a homewrecker then she should have kept the story as low-profile as possible to ensure the home didnt actually get wrecked, surely?
As for the act of Coitus itself, couldnt give a shit.

Or that's just what they're telling you Seriously, what is wrong with this place at the moment? 90% of women just want to date rich types? For fuck's sake. Any more sweeping generalisations we want to add to this thread? All aisians are terrorists? All Brazilian ladyboys are dwarfs?
