Sunderland Game and Charlie x2

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ditto!

Come on people who can make the game if its around 11 or 12 on the saturday? So far its only me, Augie and Frank Sav. The Sunderland lad said they could get 11 players for the saturday and we will have to hurry up and try and book the pitch.
Chris,

How about PM'ing the lads who played last year? Perhaps they're just not entering this thread?? :? Also, are the O's playing Saturday? Perhaps we could go to that after?? :?
Orient are playing Bury at home on the 15th Oct 3pm kick off, are we all going to this after??? :?

Rebs, barry and our mackem buddy are going to watch the shammers game they say. Personally I am not sure what I intend doing but am more than likely flying back Saturday night and not waiting for the game on Sunday - flights already booked and costing too much to change them :x
I would imagine that it would be nigh on impossible to see the orient game and still make it out to stanstead by 6.30pm so doubtful if I will be at the o's game frank :(

How much to change the flights Augie?

What if we book the pitch for an hour for either 12 or 1? I will try and see how much the pitch was we played on last year. That way at least those going to the Orient will only have to cross the road. Still need some more players. Frank Sav Ill pm last years players later on

Think I can do that. Couldn't really care if it's O's or West Ham

Cant remember exactly chunky but somewhere around 77 euro + tax I think  Tbh though I dont think I really give a fcuk about missing the Arsenal game - I said at the start of the season that unless there were major changes at the club I would not be arsed going over to many games and while I would def have gone to this game had it been on the saturday I am still not too bothered about missing it either

As regards the kick off time I will be ok with whatever time it is fixed mate - will def have to get directions nearer the time though as last year spuddy was good decent enough to collect 3 paddy's at stanstead so the need to know where I was going wasnt an issue

I did, and would love to play....but have got horse racing Ascot that day (double booked! :banghead: :banghead: )

If you can do an earlier kick off 10ish I might be able to make it.

fuck that's annoying.. :banghead:

No keeper ! Great start to my 3rd game as manager! Ive pm'd a couple of the lads who played last year but cant find any details for Meds as I havent seen him on here for a while so if anyone knows him or off him please pass this on.

Anyone can play but as the Sunderland lads will be out on the piss friday night and most of them are going to the Orient game on Saturday then 11 / 12 or 1 is looking the likeliest times. I cant try to book the Leyton pitch until I know for sure we have at least 12. We wil def need a minimum of 1 sub believe me! Everybody who comes will get a game.

So far its only Me, Augie, Frank and the Danno twins!

Augie Im sorry that the rearrangement has fucked you up. Im willing to chip in to help you change your flights matey.

Augie, myself and REBEL just rebooked our flights home from Sat to Sunday.

We have plenty of time with 13 30 game start to get back to Stanstead'

We booked a twin room in the Premier Inn Stratford for sat night. There is a new train and underground station next door which is handy.

I'm sure we could sneak you in to stay with us.

You and REBEL would easily fit in a single bed
Only joking but i think that something could be arranged with pillows and blankets.

Thanks for the offer lads but honestly I am totally ok with missing the game at the grove on the sunday - actually playing the game on the saturday is more important than attending on the sunday although I might still end up doing both.

Not looking great to get a squad for Gooner FC though is it chunky ? It seems like some lads need an earlier kick off whilst others are looking for a lunchtime kick off.......impossible to suit everybody

I will play if you need lads. Later the better I think for me and others. Would imagine 1pm would be easiest, guess we'd have the piss up after the game then.

No keeper? ... No problem ... Arsenal have a spare that they won't be using this season.

Might find he's a bit of a useless *word censored* tho.
