Have to say I couldnt see that Eboue was that good from my sleepy state but Gallas and Nasri looked great today. And even Almunia looked a bit more commanding. Bendtner and Ade didnt work at all as a partbnership, anyone know why RVP was on the bench to start with? Then i fell asleep through the Spurs game and hit the beach...

As for Adebayor people wave money and boo him because, the guy spent the whole summer whoring himself to another club saying he needed to feel loved and wanted more money, when no one came in he went back to the club and doubled his money (something we wouldnt do for flamini what the fuck) and he played like a useless c**t all game.
As that bloke said earlier support any player who gives 100% and that will tell you why people booed adebayor.
Also no mention of why RVP didnt start did he have a knock?
Eboue played well, however, i would have switched him wide when toure came on, kolo looked miles short of match fit
You can call Ade useless *word censored* and blame him for a shit first touch, but to say he doesn't give 100%
And to condone people booing an Arsenal player and waving money at them, well, i'm lost for words.
no of course we should just instantly forgive players for spending the whole summer trying to move to another club and double his money after ONE season where he still missed a hat full of chances - all of the sudden its wrong for fans to express their views on a player?
right I'll remind you of this when your booing cole - this is exactly the same situation but no one was stupid enough to pay for adebayor.
And a guy who is offside so frequently in such pointless situations indicates a certain level of laziness to me and as such not giving a 100%, adebayor runs when he sees a champagne moment to play to the crowd and he was just like that last season as well. 70 grand a week - the guys robbing the club every single fucking week.

Agree that he's not worth 70k a week but in general terms his workrate is great and has been for most of the time at the club.

Haha, so what is posted in the tabloids is the complete truth? If you want a debate, we can actually look at what happened. The man himself never asked for a transfer. As for cole, i don't hate him for going for money, i hate him for slagging the club.
now compare their quality . . I give that adebayor on occasions works hard, but not all the time and whatever way you look at it he treated the club and fans like his personal toilet this season and he deserves to know that the fans dont just forgive players that easily.
As for RVP he isnt really in the team to stretch defences and chase long balls and im not sure we're ever gna know what sort of work-rate RVP could get too, given that he's never been a 1st choice starter for more than 3 months - it will be interesting when his contract comes up for renegotiation at the moment I wouldnt be offering him 70k a week, but given we gave in to chief c**t adebayor we're gna be up a certain creek without any oars and a big fucking hole in the bottom of our boat!
Well, facts are that adebayor, love him or hate him, scored 30 goals last year, played almost every game and worked his socks off. Is he worth 70k a week? I don't think so but in the first half of last season his workrate carried RvP with one of the biggest examples being spurs away.
If RvP isn't on his game then he's as much use as a rosicky but if adebayor isn't then at least he does the work.
There's nothing to stop RvP, in my opinion, working a bit harder. That's all.
And if he gets through 10 games in a row, he might be world class.
i agree with booing players who conduct theirselves in the manner of adebayor - if you want a transfer do it behind closed doors - you might notice most players dont ask for transfers anymore - ronaldo, barry, berbatov, because they have loyalty bonuses written into their contracts which entitle them to millions of pounds if they are sold - when was the last player who actually handed in a written transfer request, they all do it through their agents and media are people naive enough not to know that as much shit the press make up another 50% of it is strategically placed by PR agencies etc.
Adebayor and his agent angled for a move all summer and didnt get it so came back to arsenal and doubled his money, now he's on world class wages he should turn in world class performances, yes he scored 30 last season but if you had samuel eto or dare i say it a didier drogba 30 would have been closer to 50 and the title would be sitting at the emirates instead of old trafford.
I disagree with booing players just because they're shit like sections of the crowd were doing to eboue and senderos after the champions league 1/4 final last season, yet you never here anyone moaning about that - maybe its because they arent fashionable players - but adebayor isnt just another arsenal player now - he has made himself a rod for abuse and if he doesnt perform this is whats going to happen, as it goes I wasnt one of the people who were booing him but i certainly didnt cheer him and I had a go at him yesterday because he was fucking useless and now we're paying him double to miss 3 or 4 chances per game.
The anger is probably heightened by the fact we wouldnt give the likes of flamini an exta 5 k per week because of our strict wage structure but adebayor comes along and smashes the thing and I think it would be easier to replace adebayor than it is proving to replace flamini.
The people booing him have the same right as everyone else who decide not too.
Young lad, French national but of Algerian descent, stands on the Emirates pitch before playing his first competitive game for his new club Arsenal. He says a few quick prayers as he is a muslim, as are a number of his new team-mates at the club. Several hours later at a major London tube station a man in an Arsenal shirt walks past me up an escalator and as he passes a young muslim woman wearing a headscarf he turns round and verbally abuses her as he carries on up. Totally out of the blue and unprovoked, telling her to "fuck off!" several times. She retorts by making a very good point about how 'brave' he is given his size in comparison to hers and I stand there hoping that he isn't waiting for her at the top. What probably sums up this idiot best is that he had 'Legend in the making / 14' on the back of his shirt. Talk about not having a fucking clue about anything! Anyway, this was the only downside to an enjoyable day spend at the Arsenal.

'Legend in the making', if he's name wasn't Theo Walcott, he would be on the end of some wrath imo
Poor performance but a win is a win.But the sooner Wenger buys that DM the better. We are not the same team without Cesc.
As for the booing of Greedybayor he brought all this upon him by his behaviour over the summer.Even though he iss wearing an Arsenal shirt he is still a greedy crunt. He has to earn our support by playing well and yesterday he was poor
