Arsenal v WBA Official Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal v WBA Official Thread

Post by Chippy »

As most people seemed in favour of the idea of having one thread for a match day, i have decided to take the law into my hands and start one.

it really helps if we can see everyone's views in the same place so please try to follow on.

personally I am going tomorrow with the lowest expectations for many years. Sad really but I hope that this season will be even more of a surprise than last.

Sorry not to be able to touch base with the mad fuckers going to the Rocket but I will have my 12 yo lad with me.

Anyway to start the debate my preferred 11

Almunia
Sagna
Toure
Gallas
Clichy
Walcott
Ramsey
Denilson
nasri
Vela
RvP

No Greedybayor! No Eboue!

Come on Arsenal! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

12's old enough for a beer. Only 12 hours now. Let's hope for a convincing win as anything else will be a diasappointment.

I'm not the biggest Ade fan either but we need him in our squad. :banner: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Can't sleep so I'm lying in bed with my laptop.

I agree we need Ade unfortunately, but despite all the worries expressed we must be able to despatch WBA without too much difficulty and need to bring on the newer members of the squad, especially as we all think the crunt will be out of here as soon as he can.

I think Nasri will play CM next to Denilson, also thinking we should start Ade next to RvP just to get ahead early in the goal differential. Anyways, I can't wait the anticipation has been killing me all summer! C'MON YOU GUNNERS!!
