Re: Jack Wilshere
What has ramsey done recently to make you think he is good enough? Elneny already looks more convincing
Re: Jack Wilshere
It will be a farce if Wilshere is picked for Euro 16.
Re: Jack Wilshere
Why? Not good enough to be in there ahead of the likes of Henderson and Milner - two of the biggest plodding donkeys ever to pull on the white shirt. Surely not?Sean wrote:It will be a farce if Wilshere is picked for Euro 16.
Shouldn't we wait to see how he looks between now and the end of the season. He was one of England's best players in qualifying and certainly better than those two chumps above, and far superior to Drinkwater, Noble and any of the other five minute wonders being touted as the next saviour currently
Re: Jack Wilshere
We should see how he does, but I do think that other players who can actually put in a full season should be considered. Then there's the problem of where Woy will play him - an AM being played as a DM, etc. It screams of big-club-bias (If you can call us a big club with TOF's underachievement). Knowing Wilshere, he'll get injured again anyway.SteveO 35 wrote:Why? Anyway, WC2010 killed any illusions for me that international football means anything.
Re: Jack Wilshere
I wouldn't worry as the national cry (including many on here) for Eric Dier will be so overwhelming that Woy will add him to the list of Spurs title winners in his starting XI. With him and the likes of Alli, Kane, Walker and Rose how could we possibly fail to win itSean wrote:We should see how he does, but I do think that other players who can actually put in a full season should be considered. You are spot on as regards Milner and Henderson, they are shite

Which is why he shouldn't play! He should get himself fit for Arsenal and sustain fitness before he goes anywhere near the England squad.
Re: Jack Wilshere
England's midfield will be Henderson and Dier, with Alli.
Seeing 4 Scum players in the starting line-up (Clyne will be picked ahead of Walker) makes no odds to me as i'm not that fussed about international football. We still have Welbeck to cheer anyway

Re: Jack Wilshere
He is one of few players with an actual personality. Unlike boy scout Feo, Jack actually shows an attitude on the pitch. He has stuck fingers up at City fans, pushed Pennant to the ground at Stoke, he rubs opposition fans up the wrong way - which means he is making an impression based on his personality.
I am sick of the players making nice and being respectful opponents on their best behavior. Give me Diego Costa's cheating antics any day over nice guy Feo Wally. We have too many nice players with no on-field presence - none of our players strike a cord with opposition fans, and thats because they are not noticed due to having little to no personality.
Wilshere on the other hand gets jeered, because he in the refs face, never taking backward step, mixing it up with the opposition, - and its noticed by the fans who react accordingly.
Selling Wilshere would be a massive mistake.

Re: Jack Wilshere
Funny that, I haven't seen his attitude on the pitch all year. Always injured, what use is that to any club?

Exactly. He could be as good as Pele and it's no good if he's not playing any football.casgooner wrote:Funny that, I haven't seen his attitude on the pitch all year. Always injured, what use is that to any club?
Re: Jack Wilshere
I would love a team of hard men, as we had before. Although I'd take Adams and Vieira over a yapping chihuahua like Wilshere any day of the week. He is the textbook little bloke who is only hard when he has back-up.Wilson wrote:He is one of few players with an actual personality. He's finally back in training but still weeks away from actually making an appearance.
Re: Jack Wilshere
All this just makes him a liability on the few occasions he is fit to play! So by my reckoning that makes him shite and a liability when fit and a crocked embarassment the rest of the time! So sell sell sell!!!Wilson wrote:He is one of few players with an actual personality. Unlike boy scout Feo, Jack actually shows an attitude on the pitch. If that is genuine (and it looks it) what a fucking bellend.BFG4 wrote:https://t.co/nuqsBCmNa3
Footballers earn an unfathomable amount and in return have to keep their piss-ups fairly low key for a decade or so.
He has been stung by this sort of shit before so he's a fucking idiot. I don't expect the guy to be a saint but at least had the common sense to get wankered and misbehave in a fairly private setting. The bloke is a father of two for fucks sake.
