Why would you call the most successful manager in Arsenals history Le Cock? Are you a Spurs fan?augie wrote:Cannot understand the logic of le cock arguing Ramsey's red card on the basis that the ref let much worse than that go on - maybe he did let worse go on but that is an argument in itself and separate from Ramsey's two yellow cards which were spot on
I see you're new here. 'Le Cock' is positively mild.fivetothree wrote:Why would you call the most successful manager in Arsenals history Le Cock? Honestly, that is embarassing. Show the man some respect, even if you think he has done his time no need for that.
Save that kind of thing for the likes of Mourinho, Nasri, Adebayor etc not anyone at Arsenal.
There's a thread. You should read it.fivetothree wrote:Maybe it is me, but I do not understand some of the negativity here.
We have just won the FA Cup and signed Ozil and Sanchez in the last 12 months!
Not saying things are perfect, but they are way better than they were. I dread to think of what it was like here after the 8-2 shellacking at OT in 2011.
And I'm not a blind Wenger loyalist, but he has improved the squad markedly the last couple of years and hopefully the team will have a solid base to handover to whoever comes in in 2/3 years.
There were one or two politely suggesting that Mr Wenger should be relieved of his duties. Which, to be fair, he should have.fivetothree wrote:Maybe it is me, but I do not understand some of the negativity here.

Mate, if you are gonna stick around here you might want to get yourself a thicker skin. We are not Arsenal.com. People are allowed to express themselves here as they want - within reason. Look on this forum as the pub after a particularly shit loss, let's say 8-2 away. There will be jokes, there will be rants, there will be abuse, there will be dwarfs like Lefty and Ewoks like OneBard. It's not for everyone.fivetothree wrote:Why would you call the most successful manager in Arsenals history Le Cock? So much that could be easily dissected here and rubbished. Will only say, though, that said markedly improved squad just last season received 3 utterly embarrassing pumpings.fivetothree wrote:Maybe it is me, but I do not understand some of the negativity here.

Yeah I understand that, and I love the banter that is why I signed up here. But I think calling your own manager a cock is crossing a line.DB10GOONER wrote:Mate, if you are gonna stick around here you might want to get yourself a thicker skin. We are not Arsenal.com. No, but I am putting a sense of perspective in here. Not so long ago we were signing shite like Park, Santos, Schillaci, Silvestre, Denilson etc. Now look at what we have, I cannot think of one player who does not deserve to be in the squad.augie wrote:fivetothree wrote:Maybe it is me, but I do not understand some of the negativity here.

So basically signing two top players is a reason to ignore all the other bullshit that the French cock brings to the table ?I cannot believe that any right minded Gooner would champion the signings of any player as if in itself it equates to winning trophies
