I imagine Wenger is secretly quite pleased we threw that.

Rosicky, as one of the senior players, was particularly poor I thought.

I didn't get home until the start of the second half. I'd been watching 15 mins before I realised Pod was on the pitch. He's a top man, but a dwindling asset.

In our system we need top widemen. We didn't have any tonight.

Coquelin looks to have beefed up but still makes poor decisions.

Diaby, Campbell, Rosicky and Pod all looked like what they are: short of game time.

I don't mind a really weakened team. I don't really mind getting knocked out. It's the League Cup , we've got injuries and players that haven't had much game time. I don't expect - especially at this stage in the season - many players who haven't really played to come in and put in really good individual performances.

But it's the same clueless tactical bollocks and complete disorganisation that plague the first team, and that really pisses me off. As often a strong start gives way and by the last 15+ minutes we had no fucking idea. Not a lack of effort, just a complete lack of coherent game plan. There was one moment at the end where Chamberlain ghosted between 3 or 4 players and shifted the ball inside on the edge of the box. And Rosicky controlled it, sauntered about with his back to goal, took his time to look up then checked back and passed it back outside.

We've also kept up our tendency of conceding goals from nothing. Yes, individual mistakes by Rosicky and Ospina but it just happens all too often. And no surprise to see their CB have a completely free header 6 yards out from a corner at the end. Just makes me wonder what the fuck we do in training every day? Players on different levels, players that just don't fit, and all undermined by Wenger's trademark Round Holes Square Pegs formation.

A lot of the time is taken up with photo-shoots, posing for pictures, making short videos for the website, Q&A sessions. Training only happens on a Wednesday as there isn't time,

It'll be minimal consolation but I think Spurs get absolutely smashed by an in-form Forest side tomorrow night and Liverpool could still yet go out to Boro.

Just got back from a business trip so only got to hear some on the radio and watched the last 20 minutes on the web

Gutted, doesn't begin to describe it. With the exception of this Saturday's NLD, that's the interest killed until the only other cup we can win begins again in January

Thanks for killing another cup dream Lord Cuntybollocks - hope the experiment of Bellerin, Hayden, Chambers and Coquelin - will be worth it when we walk off the field after 90 minutes against those *word censored* on Saturday because only victory against those useless wankers can start to make up for the crime of tossing away another trophy

The failings of the transfer window laid bare - a defence which shipped 20 goals in the 4 away games we played against the other members of the top 5.....and shit for brains sees Sagna, Vermaelen, Miquel and Jenko (on loan) go out and Debuchy and Chambers come in. Just the tonic for when we need to rotate

And to see him standing there berating the 4th official again - fucking absolute wanker. I have nothing positive to say on a night like tonight - haven't been this gutted since M.Shitforbrains decide to play the Forehead up front on his own against Blackburn 2 season ago.

Stop being a smart alec, Babachukwu was on and I was asking a legitimate question, wondering how his beloved scum would do tomorrow.

By the way my other personality wants you to foxtrot Oscar for being so impertinent. Don't blame me, he said it,not me :(

In memory of a great man and a great night - never to be repeated in this cup under Lord Cuntybollocks

Still - Rocky's winner and Champagne Charlie's double will never surpass the glory of 18 Group stages in the CL and the glory of 4th

Rodders - start the countdown clock to the contract expiry will you?

Koeman and the Saints fans looked gutted at the end didn't they - oh shit, we're still in the League Cup

yeah, the league cup should be when we blood a few young kids, but ultimately at home we should win with the quality in the rest of the side.

but under wenger, sides don't fear coming to The Arsenal anymore - if anything they know to weather the first 15, then attack us and go home with a win.

southampton rested players too btw :banghead:
