Got a few who need game time - Podolski, Rosicky, Campbell, Diaby, Ospina

Not sure what defence we can put out though, may have to be the kids.

Gutted, I'm flying back from Sweden while this is going on :(

Biggest game of the season so far and the Great Abou likely to get some game time too......come on you Gooners !

The team should be fairly strong when you consider who can't get a game.

I'm with SteveO. Biggest game of the season so far. I'll be there :barscarf:

Will never be as big as the FA Cup but far more exciting than the "Champions" Borefest

I don't think we can afford to play Chambers. Things are stretched enough at the back without risking him. He picked up his 4th yellow card today leaving him one away from suspension. We don't want to be even weaker in defence with the Chavs and spuds on the horizon.

Couldn't agree more rodders - his rashness in the tackle is a concern, but the lack of available defenders (nice one arsene  :censored: ) should ensure his non inclusion in the squad for this one.
Anybody else think that he will pick him for the game though ? :rubchin:

Since when was Coquelin a lb?

I remember him playing RB and he wasn't one of those either.

I think Willock, Zelalem and Hayden will be involved in some capacity, if fit.

yup, defence should be all kids, we have no-one else who can play unless Monreal is fit again. Rest of the team should be fairly strong.

We have a decent young LB in the youth academy. I can't remember his name but I'd use him if Monreal is still crocked.

The f**k up of a transfer window is going to be brutally exposed during this game. We can't afford to play any of yesterday's back 4 and we are left with Ajayi(promising but very raw)Ormonde-Ottewill (super fast, super young)and Hayden, also promising but young. Bellerin is practically an old hand compared to that lot.

The saints team will be full of players from their successful academy who will have more experience. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost this. Ospina and the other senior players in the middle and upfront will have to take some responsibility.

A nice touch would be to start Poldi and name him Captain, I think he'll relish the role. It'll be more than he's going to get this season before March. The traditional period for our first team cashing in their 2 month injury time coupons. :banghead:

Would absolutely love to see Crowley get a run at some point in the game as well- the line up will be really interesting.

Tickets at £10 are a bargain IMHO
