sNOw GAME

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Boomer - you didnt confuse us about the tickets (well me anyway :? ), but how could you think I liked NB52 instead of Cesc?

BT - my seat isnt even cold yet  (well, yes it is actually but lets not be picky).

Gooner.ed - maybe you need to check out the Arsenalnewsnow sites..... :groaner:

What do you spend time surfing the internet for? :gus2:

living less than a mile from the ground i can say that the conditions here are not that much of a problem. cant see them cancelling it. The ground staff and islington council have been keeping the area around the ground grited since yesterday. only problem will be for our travelling fans be them gooners or bolton.

Only problems for me are the steps around the ground and if there were problems with the tube. Fingers crossed it goes ahead :barscarf:

Looking at the pictures basil linked the concourse and steps around the ground will be snow and ice free.

The guy on sky sports news was asked out of 10 what chance does the game have of going ahead, he said 4. When I was in New York a few years back and there was a solid 12 inches of snow there was no worry about any sporting event being cancelled, shame this country goes to pot with a covering of snow!

Someone at work just rang the club to see if any news - apparently there will be a decision before 12:30.

apparently the ground and surrounding areas are ok, but its the worry of worsening weather for fans later tonight and lack of transport (last train from victoria tonight is 9:22!)

Im really looking forward to tonight, think if theyre going to cancel it they will cancel it before 3pm, cant imagine them calling it off much later than that. I know a lot of people whinging about not making it but I guess this is one benefit about supporting your local team.

If the game does go ahead, I think the atmosphere will be buzzing, can see a few fair weather fans crying off and the fans who do turn up, some having made a special effort to get there will be singing and get behind the team.

Win today, win saturday, 4 points ahead of the Mancs before they play on Sat, and if Hull/Chavs cancelled on saturday we could be sitting pretty at the top!!

GET THE GAME ON :barscarf:
