. But I wanted to throw my two cents into that ring. This thread has been a fun read.Aside from those on the forum who support other clubs, we all love Arsenal FC, we would never turn our backs on the club, we love the rich legacy and heritage that the club has. We are not about to fuck off to Shite Hart Shame just because we are upset. I'd happily say we show more passion and pride about Arsenal then most of the inept tossers that play for us these days.
And why are we like that? because we are slowly watching all that Arsenal represents being rubbed the ground, stamped on and then s**t on by our glorious c**t of a leader and the board who back him. Who have constantly lied to us, messed us around and show a complete disregard for what should be essential to any Football club, success on the pitch and the love of the fans in the stand.
We were told moving stadiums would allow us to compete with the best in the world financially and on the pitch. We were prepared for a period where finances would be lowered to pay off the debt. All it has gotten us was a side fill with Z-List scum like Diaby and Denilson, where the money fills their overpaid wallets so they can do bugger all on the pitch. Our much touted youth system has only given two successes; Ashley Cole and Jack Wilshere. Our best player is understandably fed up and wants to leave. We have consistant problems in defence and in goal and yet they are never addressed, our tactics revolve around Robin on his own up front and throwing on Bendtner and Arshavin when we are struggling.
We are told that settling for 4th place or second best is a success and to reward us for this we get a 6.5% price hike because apparently we are not making enough money, rather then sell they amount of s**t in the side and reduce the wage bill we get pissed on. We are told each year Wenger will invest in the side heavily, then turns around and says he only needs one or players because breaking up the side is unthinkable. We watch him go on and on about how everything is perfect and success is close and it's maddening. Each time I hear it I wish I could appear next to him and tell him to shut up and get it in his head that it's not working.
Okay, so we are in a position each year which hundreds of other clubs would love to be in. But it doesn't change the fact that for the last 6 years we have become a bunch of nearly men, who bottle it come Feb/Mar and we hate that, we hate being force-fed the same b**locks about mental strength and how our side have done great things. we hate being made to endure the same problems year in year out without anything done to address it. This summer has been so difficult to endure, watching us dither about as always, getting nothing done, promises again going unfufilled because we shoot ourselves in the foot.
We love the Arsenal, it's a part of our lives, it's like a family to us. But it is now a family where it's very principals have been tarnished, where the higher ups have forgotton what made it great in the first place. We want that back.
Tl;dr - Wenger is a c**t who will never change, and we are unhappy because nothing is being addressed at the side to change anything.
