This place works well nearly all the time.
There are flare ups, some serious, but posters on here are either genuine Gooners or declare their allegiance to another club up front and it is no problem.
But this USMartin has consistently hit below the belt for over a year, and refused to discuss things in a respectful fashion.
I sincerely believe he is not a proper fan, and is just on here to wind up members.
He exhibits aggression and insulting behaviour every day.
I think he should be banned.

The problem here is that although Marty is a wind up merchant, he rarely commits an 'offence' worthy of banning. Yes, I agree he uses this forum as a platform for his one man crusade against the board, often dismissing other people's opinions while ramming his own down everyones and ALWAYS blaming every problem on the board. I should think that if a smoking gun is necessary to reach any conlusion then surely that holds true in reaching yours unless you are just operating with a double standard.

The onus is on you to produce the evidence as that is all you talk about and you claim it to be the absolute truth without giving thought to other people's views. However, I do agree that he's made his points so many times it becomes a bit ridiculous. Martin you're actually a good poster, just please FFS post on something else.
I for one don't mind Martin but never read the board threads, until something new comes to light we'll never have ANY CONCRETE EVIDENCE on either side, and we will just continue to go round in ever decreasing circles.

The pattern will start again now.I think Martin takes things to the edge and then just as he is about to get load of complaints he will either go missing for a while or post non-board posts for a little while, then slowly get back into the same old routine

The problem with that it it supposes with should believe other thingsd with no concrete endidence whatsoever supporting those caims Is that in fact any different at all from doing what I am doing as you suggest (and I respectfully disagree to some extent)?
My sense is that we do not know a with real certainty what is happening or why or wthether the club's best intersts have been protected by those entrusted by us to protect them, and thus we should be concerned about every possibility and express our concern about every possibility if we genuinely want the change we all want to see.
I don't think focusing solely on any one possibility or ignoring any other possibilities achieves anything. You can't fix a problem if you deliberately ignore it. You can fix a problem by falsesly diagnosing what it is. You can only fix what's broken if you can identify what is broken. Ignoring what you know is or may be broken will not let you fix anything.
The problem seems to be too many are too happy to do that, and they take very deep exception to anyone directly or indirectly pointing that out.
