Sunderland Game and Charlie x2

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chunky The Gooner wrote:No keeper ! Great start to my 3rd game as manager! Ive pm'd a couple of the lads who played last year but cant find any details for Meds as I havent seen him on here for a while so if anyone knows him or off him please pass this on.

Anyone can play but as the Sunderland lads will be out on the piss friday night and most of them are going to the Orient game on Saturday then 11 / 12 or 1 is looking the likeliest times. I cant try to book the Leyton pitch until I know for sure we have at least 12. We wil def need a minimum of 1 sub believe me! Everybody who comes will get a game.

So far its only Me, Augie, Frank and the Danno twins!Augie Im sorry that the rearrangement has fucked you up. Im willing to chip in to help you change your flights matey.

Last page I offered up my services as a defensive midfielder in the style of Song, in other words I play in the oppositions last third for 90 minutes

I'm his age to be fair, not exactly intimidating either, so tell him it's fine. 8)

But that is what having Lib Dem parents will do to someone!

He's not a bad little player, but has a tendency to wimp out of a tackle. Think he's worried he's going to get flattened by a 20 stone mackem.

We're happy to play 7 a side if needs be. Rather that than no game at all.

I'm the opposite Chippy. Technically iffy but love a crunching challenge.

Ahh so you have met their centre-half from last season.

Honestly, it was like being maked by a supermarket! That man is enormous and should be in a wrestling ring not on a football pitch!

The one decent shot I got in and that chap just stuck out a leg and blocked it. It was like the sun had gone in for a minute there.

With Sky changing the kick off I wonder if they have been able to rearrange the juggernaut to bring him down on?
