Manure v Arsenal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Anyway.....who'd heard of Van Persie 8 years ago.

I'm with Red Member on this one....except, we've already won our big game at Reading this week :barscarf:

united's back four and midfield are shit.

i reckon that if AW decides to have a go at them we could lose 3-2. kos or TV sent off.

or, if the team has to carry Ramsay again - no pace no width - lose 4-0.

Camel comes out of the gloom and saf now see's he bought the wrong Arsenal striker, Wenger then claims it was all a cunning plan to secure PL domination. RvP limps off with a shattered glass leg (again) :D

I would be absolutely over the moon with a goalless draw, but I would be absolutely astonished if that were the final score.

The bookies should be pricing that up as around 16-1 or so, but I bet it's no longer than 8's or 9's.

I can't see us getting anything there......and I do not actually rate this Man United team.
It shows where we are at the moment.

This exactly bastarding right. ^^^^

They are not a patch on what they used to be, particularly in midfield and at the back - but we are still not near as good as them. Just hope one of our lot takes VanJudas' knees home in a bag. 8) The sight of that ungrateful Judas Kúnt in that jersey gives me the winter vomiting bug. Keeunt.  :censored: :cussing:

So in over 300 dire minutes of paceless football playing a lone forward we scored the sorry total of 1 goal (against the 10 men of QPR).
Suddenly forced to play a couple of central strikers supported by genuinely attacking midfield players and its 7 goals in less than 80 minutes

Now we all know it isn't quite that simple but one thing will really piss me off on Saturday - and it will be the new found confidence of our strikers reduced to rabble once more when we stick one of them up top on their own and revert to the poor predictable slow passing style of Carrow Road

Two strikers please and the Chamster to start

Marouane Chamakh has all the pace of an Austin Allegro. And I'm not talking Vanden Plas.

I'd go with Podolski and Giroud up front, maybe bring on Chamakh as a sub. Too much of a gamble in a match like this.
