Manure v Arsenal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Manure v Arsenal

Post by Chippy »

I'll probably get a bollocking from fellow mods for opening this thread now. We don't like having 2 match threads on the go at the same time, but I know this game is going to dominate the thoughts of all gooners for the next week. If anyone wants me to lock please PM.

I'm sure we're all hoping for a better result than last year, but I'm not confident.

This Utd team are poor and are easily beatable if we play with our best 11 at our highest level. That said, they have a manager who can tactically out-think ours on every level. I saw that Fergie was in the stands for today's game, bet he saw nothing to worry him at all.

1-3, RvP to get two :(

We will easily lose as we always seem to do up there. Our manager will do his usual brainless tactical set up 4-3-3 and Fergie will plan a way to stop us ( Santi ) and be able to feed RVP with a load of chances. 3-0 home win and a long drive home. :banghead:

Literally can't foresee any way we'll get anything up there. Ferguson will have been laughing in the stands today. To make it worse RvP is a banker to bag at least one.

Won't win. Might get a hiding. Rvp def won't score from open play though - I don't think the guy will be looking forward to facing his old team-mates and the Gooners that used to worship him so I predict he will hide for most of the game UNLESS the stick hegets actually winds him up and makes him want to stick two fingers up at us Gooners

As I see it the only way for TV5 to redeem his dire performances recently will be to put that *word censored* over the hoardings the first chance he gets. If he manages to twat Rooney as well then all the better. Or maybe its time for the BFG to expose his nasty streak? Possibly bring Jenks on for the last 10 to do a job on him, GOONER :barscarf:

I hope Wenger packs a good supply of KY Jelly on the flight to Manchester ( ) because we are going to take an almighty ramming if we play as we have in the last few games.

Judas hattrick in a 5-0 home win, I'm afraid.

This team doesn't have the bollocks to go there and get a result.
