STOKE HOME GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can I be the first to declare my displeasure with this Ospina thing when he kicks the ball.

Bastard. I will have to be a closely-following second then.

Anything that will wipe the smirk of Szczesnys face is fine by me

We were good, Stoke were piss-poor and the Dwellers lost.

Happy with that.

Szcz will sit out about three games; after which Arsene will say he has 'learnt from his mistakes' and he will be put back into the side before going walkabout (with a fag on) and conceding a penalty for handling in the centre circle.

Nothing at all surprising here. Arsenal thrash midtable team at home. Standard operating procedure.
Next Sunday will tell us far more than a home fixture v Stoke.
On a side note, Sanchez is phenomenal. Shame he's surrounded by a sea of shite
If the season ended today, I'd be tempted to give him the POTY. The only black mark against him is that he's yet to show up in any of the games v the big Three teams. Still, he's a great player...not sure Suarez is worth £40m more than he is? :rubchin:

He smashed in a volley against Man City and ok didn't show up for the other two but his first season in a far more physical league than where he has come from so he's doing ok

He's not. Suarez was only ever worth what Barca were prepared to pay for him. They seem to be aping the R Madrid 'Galactico' nonsense and spent a king's ransom on Goofy & Neymar without actually improving their team.

It's not like they didn't break the bank to bring in Sanchez in the first place (and Fabregas too) yet were quite happy to let both go without much of a fight.

They are a basket case again.

I like it. Bit harsh to have a moan about the lack of atmosphere and then criticize new efforts at creating some.

Still not convinced by Coquelin. Probably best of a bad bunch atm but would have no qualms about pieing him off if we got the DM we've needed for the best part of a decade.
