As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Unfortunately I do believe that Gazidis and co are going down the same roads as the Red Sea pedestrians did a few years back, hardly a day went past In the late 90's early 2000's without Spurs being linked to this one or that one in a bid to appease their fans.
Many many times a Spurs delegation used to even fly in for supposed talks when half the time the player didn't know who Tottenham were.
This way the club can say we made great efforts to sign this one or that one without having to actually sign them.
Last years Mata debacle was a classic example of how a low bid can be made and then the club just melts away from it when more serious buyers emerge !
We did our business after Nasri and Fab had gone and we very nearly needed up without Arteta ,our one and only quality signing of last year. Even then it was a risk as he didn't have a medical and of course is injury prone and almost 30 .
I sincerely hope we learn from last several years mistakes but if we dont then we are doomed to another season of mediocrity .
