Ryan babel.....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yeah originally he said he would love to play for arsenal but then followed it up saying it would probally not happen in the near future but may come later in his career.

Well it seems to me that he didn't go for an absolute fortune so either he didn't figure in AW's plans or he just didn't think he was good enough!
Remember altho yesterday's papers were full of Marco Van Basten sayin that L'pool had aquired themselves the next Henry, when we signed v Persie 3yrs ago v Basten was quoted as saying that RvP "was the finest Dutch player of his generation", so it's pretty obvious that he holds RvP in even higher esteem than Babel!

first ribery and now babel, i prefer it when we arent linked with players it actualy gives us a better chance of signing them.
this just shows the boards piss poor commitment to seeing the team progress, what we need is another diehard gooner on there to kick up a fuss and try and get some players signed.

Jesus here we go again, if Wenger had wanted Babel the board would have given him the money!
