NEWCASTLE THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I dont want to say a score, havent made a forecast when playing newcastle since we got beat in 2001? or 2002?, an evening match, possibly the game maeevans refers to in his other post?? cant be arsed to look it up.
I had been larging it all day at work, we were in form and all was great, it was painful the following morning!!
Hoping for a revenge 1-3 though.

i hate playin the barcodes away and everton away. we only seem to score at st james through getting wonder goals (db10's magic, vieiras 30 yarder, bayo last season), their shockin defence always play like vintage milan v us! hopefully bassong will be distracted. im going for an optimistic 3-1 to the arsenal.

A good result would see us well on way to 4th spot with Villa unlikely to pick up any points in their next 2 games, would be gutted and big blow to marale if we let it slip again.

Early storm from them, lots of appeals from the home "faithful" for penalties, handballs etc. then we go & score just after the half hour mark.

Crowd start to get restless in the second half at mis laid passes as we look good on the break. After 70 mins we go & get a second. 2-0

Real enough for ya? :)
