NEWCASTLE THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

4-2 to Arsenal, will be a good end to end game.

Phil Brown will turn up at the end and try to spit on random people but will be sat on by a fat Geordie and crushed into a a flattened piece of pulp, that will then be sent for recycling.

Hmmm.. recycled into a spittoon, that would be quite ironic...

1-3 to us, they can't defend to save their lives but will make it a tough game for an hour because they always do.

Where are "gooners gathering", I will start in Wetherspoons opposite the central rail station and wander towards Bigg market area to watch the "entertainment" at the City Vaults no doubt!

The Union Rooms
48 Westgate Road, opposite Royal
Station Hotel, near the Central Station.

Where is everyone sitting for this? I have a ticket in Row W, which, judging by the pictures, would appear to be so far away I'd assume its in a different post code.

Decent Boozers for Newcastle would appear to be:

- Bodega (lovely)
- Head of Steam
- Union Rooms(?) - that wetherspoon by the station
- And, purely for location, the O'Neills opposite the station. Terrible loos though.

Also, be sure to take advanatage of Greggs, oop norf, they're about 10p cheaper.
