First season facts for pires and nasri!!

Pires 2000/01
League Apps 33
Goals 4

Nasri 2008/09
League Apps 27
Goals 6

With three games to go nasri could still improve these stats.

everyone seems to know it all, if only you were the manager

we an't afford to break up a learning squad, i say we keep them all together because they ARE good enough. well most of them anyway. we still need to replace flamini and campbell though. but that's it. how close did we come from winning the league last year? fa cup this year? champions league this year? we are actually not that far off imo. i'd say only silvestre and denilson need to go. get rosiky fit and drop ade if he isn't performing. but when he wants it, like last season, 30goals all year. my only other worry is the gk. i defo rekon we need a new first choice Gk, cos Al & Fab are only ok as a number 2. if you look at our 2nd string side, most of them would get into the first top 4 sides outside the actual big four, so i dont understand how people can expect us to get rid of 5,6,7 fringe players just like that. and replace them with who?! this isn't a fucking computer game. :banghead: be realistic at least. keep the faith, this sqaud + a few summer signings WILL deliver.

gk: big no1  / al or fab

rb: sagna/ eboue
cb: gallas/toure
cb: vidic like CB  / big phil or djourou
lb: clichy/gibbs

rm: arshavin / theo
cm: fab / ramsey
dm:  / diaby or song
lm: rosicky (if fit) / nasri

cf: ade / eddy / nick
cf: van persie / vela

my point is, we aren't as terrible as people are making out. we have good cover for our full backs. a good seletion of strikers who we know can score goals. rvp should maybe score more though providing he can stay fit. ade is young and bagged many last season, needs to recreate that form though, has been indifferent this season due to injuries and poor start from being linked all over the place last summer. eddie is our lethal finisher. arshavin has come on loads. if rosicky cant be fit for the start of the season, he has to go - simple. may need a replacement. just 3 or 4 experienced signings would leave us with a squad that has depth and quality, and certainly isnt miles off the likes of man utd or chelsea - fact.

Hes already has better stats as i proved.

The guy is 21 years old come and into a team struggling with confidence 90% of the season without players like vieira, henry and bergkamp playing alongside him like pires did.

Back when pires played we had a defense that meant bobby didnt have to worry about tracking back and fighting for the ball, unfortunatly nasri doesnt have the same. He is required to do much more working up and down the line.

Pires is a arsenal legend, give nasri time and im sure he will also be an arsenal great.

Look at last night for example he is one of only a few that looked liked they cared, atleast he wants to play for the shirt.

Are you sure you have watched arsenal this season ??
