Protest at Stoke game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm absolutely convinced that there will not be a protest after the Stoke game and as for these banners that people are talking about, I'm quite confident that won't be happening either.
I totally agree, you hear so many people claiming they are going to do this and that and it very rarely materialises....GOOD!

I would predict everyone will go to the game, about an eight of the crowd will leave early for half time, at least 2 people around me will spend the game playing on their mobile or reading thie program, a few people will use all their energy singing about Tottenham, then a few people will leave 5 minutes before the end, and the majority will stay behind and clap the team off the pitch, oh and at some point i expect Fabregas will play a host of stray passes which strangely nobody seems to see, but quickly regain their sight just in time for Eboue to mis control it once!

And you Swale will wake up just in time for Wengers post match interview in which he says the gap between Man Utd and us is not that big and that he has faith in these players blah blah blah

That old chestnut. There have been plenty of people moaning about Cesc's lack of form all season because it is warranted. No player is above criticism when deserved. Personally, I think Cesc should not be captain - he is not a leader and the extra responsibility seems to be hindering his own game.

Eboue, on the other hand is shit. Always has been...

Always an excuse for Fabregas isn't there, playing too far forward, players around him not good enough, because he is captian etc etc. People can't judge people on a game by game basis, he has been poor this season, thats all there is to it.

Same with the assessment of Eboue, its clearly wrong. He had a couple of standout poor games and the rest of the time has been steady. I don't know why players can't be judged on how good they are at football, not whether they are latest face on a Nike advertisement.

Billocks - he's a perfectly good right back, just not a good right midfielder. Like most of our wide midfielders, he's not one. :banghead:

Even I reckon a mass walkout would give the wrong signal to the players, we could however shout "you are shit" everytime ade touches the ball.
And for Wenger what about a chant of "one more year" I'm sure he would know what we mean.

We would need to be at Villa Park to clap those responsible for us getting 4th place

And if Greedy happens to play lets give him a good send off

we weren't good enough this year and were beaten by better sides. Deal with it.

Yet again those that defend wenger and suggest that the fans back off now and cool down have stated that they have got the message know and will change things around in the summer  Is that the impression you got from wenger last night when he was blaming the fans for our woeful shortcomings instead of looking at the players "efforts", his embarrassing tactics and formations and his complete refusal to strengthen the squad where it is clearly needed ? Wenger seems to have swallowed this whole "wenger knows" crap and thinks that he is always right in much the same way that greedybayor listened to the song about him and all of a sudden thinks that he is the best in the world  Arsene thinks that we are all robots who he can program on his very word but I am sorry arsene I am no robot and I will not follow your words without question just because you have said so

I doubt he thinks he is right at all, I'm sure he will know that he messed up with certain things and will hopefully act accordingly in the Summer.

Find me 1 football manager that will come out and slag his own players off in the media.

Oh, by the way, I think a protest is a stupid idea, it's something the thick Geordies would do and we're better then that.
