Silvestre was a different kettle of fish as we were signing him not extending his contract and it is entirely possible that AW was desperate as injuries had left our defence with scant or no cover!
[/b] If I remember rightly Superbob missed most of his first season @ Porcelanosa due to injury- I'm not saying AW would have known this in advance! Wasn't it also to do with the CL final sending-off that led to him being sacrificed. ( that still devastates me now just thinking about it)
