Hleb predicts a summer of discontent

Post by hanny73 »

Bench warmer Hleb gobbing off again........

Alexander Hleb warned Arsenal last night that they will continue to lose many of their best players every year because of financial reasons. The Belarus midfield player left the Emirates Stadium to join Barcelona last summer because he was dissatisfied with the club's contract offer, the same reason that Mathieu Flamini gave for leaving to play for AC Milan.

Robin van Persie has yet to agree to a new contract and Emmanuel Adebayor's future is again in doubt even though he signed a new deal 12 months ago, with Hleb arguing that more departures are inevitable. Arsenal have the third highest wage bill in the Barclays Premier League after Chelsea and Manchester United but operate a strict structure, with Cesc Fàbregas at the apex.

“Arsenal have had a lot of problems this year,â€

It might be argued that he makes a point about Arsenal and money - Even so - He's FUCK ALL to do with Us anymore the ungrateful - money grabbing TWAT! - I'm sure I remember him saying that his (main) reason for moving was because he didn't like London Life - it was too hectic and noisey...so what does he do does he sign for Lake District United - where they play besides singing streams, rolling pastures of emerald green and to the sound of blackbirds and robins singing!? - NO he FUCKS OFF to barcelona - now there's a quiet sedate little village! :banghead:  :banghead: ....But Hey! that's alright Hlebby boy - AW put your mug on the map by improving you 1000% as a player - even though you managed to give the ball away last season more than any other Arsenal Player - and now because you FUCKED UP BIG TIME you FUCKIN GIMP and hardly get to kick a ball - you decide to dis the man and club that made you a name in europe, lined your pockets with a very healthy signing fee AND allowed you to play in the BEST FOOTBALLING TEAM YOU'LL EVER SEE!

FUCKIN TWATGIMP :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Hleb you are seriously starting to piss me off and paricularly cos it sounds increasingly like you know you fucked up and are tryin to justify yourself and are askin for a good smack in the chops by taking your self-inflicted frustration out on us............. "In football life is short, you want to enjoy football but you also want to make money" eh :? what??? is being a multi millionaire not enough for you Alex!

You've even said all that needs to be said yourself, in football life is short but you were already earning at least 2M a year and you were living, training and playin football in probably the best environment in world football and now you're reportedly earning 3M a year but what would you prefer your Wiki page to say........

Alex Hleb - who??? oh yeah that multi multi millionaire bench warmer who erm, who did erm, who scored erm, who set-up erm, or just plain old multi millionaire footballer who was an ever-present and key figure in AW's third great team which went on sweep all before them and conquer the world, ok the last bit is said in hope, but you get my drift

You were blessed with enough skill to make it as a pro and yet chose to chase the Dollar instead - shame on you, and at this rate God help ye if you return to TNHOF............ oh aye that's right you'll be in the dug-out anyway

What Hleb said was pretty much correct in the factual sense.

Summer of discontent at Arsenal = Bears performing acts of nature in wooded areas.

The onus is on Wenger to break that cycle - or at least it has been such since 2002.

Will He ???..............

it's all very odd.

I mean, considering how shit our players are it's difficult to understand why anyone would want to buy them. Particularly not when it's clubs like Milan, Inter, Real, Barcelona etc.

The world must have gone mad. Or maybe those clubs are shit too?

Oh how I laughed and celebrated last summer when barca gave us money for that *word censored* He was the most annoying and frustrating *word censored* that I had seen for some time and honestly his opinion means jack shit to me 8)
Mind you he might be better off worrying about his own career

What a shame that other big clubs dont have such a wage structure. I think that they earn enough. Not sure about the 1 year contract thing for players over 30 or whatever. However it did not deter DB10 did it!
If a player WANTS to play 4 us he will regardless, & if he thinks the money is not good enuff then he is obviously here 4 the wrong reasons- it is not as though they aren't earning more per wk than a lot of us do in several years.
Look at Shearer up at Tyneside- not many would have turned down Man UTD when he did, but he is now a LEGEND up there- & rightly so. I dont think money for money's sake can replace things like that. Anelka has said similar things in recent times.

Leave him be, he got double his wages and lost a season in the process.

Whatever makes the fool happy.

Bobby Pires did WANT to play for us but Wenger in his wisdom didnt think he desrved more than one year,Even the AKB"s have to admit that was a crazy decision. And he gives Silvestre a 2 year deal!!!

How come a one year contract which subsequently rolled over for 4 yrs was good enough for arguably the greatest player ever to play for this club in DB10, I mean have you ever asked yourself why a multi-millionaire player needs the security at the age of 33 of a two year deal!

Silvestre was a different kettle of fish as we were signing him not extending his contract and it is entirely possible that AW was desperate as injuries had left our defence with scant or no cover!

Now it's the Summer hasn't he got an ice cream to go and enjoy with his agent somewhere (whilst accidentally bumping into representatives from other clubs)

Another one blighted by the post Arsenal curse. I notice Petit has had a lot to say this year too. Amazing that it's always the ones who do fuck all when they leave that have these opinions
