As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
If Milan come in with a bid of £15m and we turn it down they will buy someone else and we will be stuck with the lazy c**t for another season .Do we really want that?.£15m is a fair price for a player who was worse than shite last season Lets just get rid of him and Diaby and Eboue too
I voted yes, as his lingering presence and bad attitude will continue to have a negative impact on the team, and having his obscene wages off the bill will make a huge difference.
He scored 16 goals in the entire season, which for a striker, is poor. I remember Pires scoring 19 in the 2004/05 season, and even that wasn't ultimately deemed good enough.
£15m is a good deal based on his performances this season. We could use both his wages and the transfer money on someone who'll try 100% of the time, not just when he feels like it.
Caught between a rock and the proverbial hard place here.....on one hand £15m aint a lot when you consider how many needs we have in the team and supposedly fcuk all money to recruit but on the other hand we could play hard ball and be stuck with the *word censored* for another 12 months and that doesnt bear thinking about
Overall I suppose we would have to take £15m if that is what is on offer but in todays market that wont go far
I just read sky text actually and milan are quoted as saying that they will be buying a top striker if kaka goes so that probably means that they wont go after greedybayor at all now
if there willing to pay that money for striker who doesn't work, doesn't know the offside rule and really doesn't know how to play a striker's role then take the money and invest in players that are worth it!!!
Why would anyone want Gattuso, wonder why Milan bought Flamini then. Oh yes because Gattuso is at his peak and hence Flamini played more matches than him
1745 BST: Emmanuel Adebayor's agent Stephane Courbis says he has received offers for the 25-year-old Arsenal striker but insists he has had no contact with AC Milan over a possible move to the San Siro. (Italian website Calciomercato.it)
