I love Hleb

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

well thas my views
Developed Polo :? if you meant Polio then you are a sick turd :x

Maybe having had to pass to le Sulk before, now Hleb has more freedom to express himself :o Never going to be a lethal finisher but I hope he keeps up trying :D

Yeah first reading of it I wondered did he mean we'd be better off if AH went off to play Polo or something, then reading it back I thought surely he doesn't mean develops Polio as it's a wasting disease
Burns - if that is indeed what you meant not only is it extremely unfunny and unwanted, it's the sort of crass attempt at humour that we associate with our neighbours and not what we practise on here, maybe you're supporting the wrong club and would feel more at home with other like-minded individuals on the SS Rd :!:

Totally agree, if that's the type of immature crap you come up with about our own players then you've got some serious issues

good old salk and sabin for developing vaccines for that horrible disease, no one gets it in these parts anymore but it is still rife in the worlds poorest regions where vaccines are not available. not funny burns718, you should be fucking ashamed of yourself.

I Hate Hleb wrote:MY 400TH POST, AND WHAT AN APPROPRIATE THREAD TO PLACE IT ON AND SUBJECT TO TALK ABOUT!! 8)

HAVING GOT HOME FROM THE MATCH AND THEN SEEN THE EXTENDED HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MATCH ON SKY - WHICH IS FAR BETTER COVERAGE THAN THEM ARSENAL-HATING WANKERS ON THE BBC HAVE JUST SHOWN - I HAVE TO REVISE MY ORIGINAL OPINION ON HLEB'S PERFORMANCE.

HLEB WAS NOT POOR, AS I STATED EARLIER (SOMETIMES IT'S JUST THE BAD THINGS THAT PLAYERS DO WHICH STICK IN ONE'S HEAD!  ).

IN FACT, IN THE FIRST HALF HLEB WAS SUPERB, IF A LITTLE WASTEFUL. IN THE SECOND HALF HE WAS MUCH QUIETER, YET POPPED UP WITH THE WINNER. :o 8)

ON REFLECTION, I CAN'T REALLY COMPLAIN TOO MUCH ABOUT HIS PERFORMANCE AND IN FACT WILL GIVE CREDIT TO MY NEMESIS, AS HE DESERVES IT!! 8)

WELL DONE ALEXANDER HLEB! 8) NOW MAKE SURE YOU KEEP SCORING AND CREATING GOALS FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!
IHH, muchas respecto from moi ... to accept hleb had a great game (of course we know there is plenty room for improvement for him, but yesterday was a great start) ...

burns718 must be a spuds spy ...

Hleb has been one of the best players so far this season - including pre-season. I can't believe you still hate him!

When I buy the third kit I will get 'HLEB 13' on the back. I've always loved his name, and thought he was a reasonable player, but now he seems to be well on his way to becoming a good player!

I'm not sure if this whirlwind of love for Hleb is getting out of control but I'm happily getting caught up in it none the less, so much so that I've decided that if he's going to be a second striker he is going in as a cheap midfielder in my fantasy football league!! Not this "week" though as we ain't playing! had to take RvP out for that same reason

More like underated/best players last season. He's one of the best dribblers I have seen and how quick are his feet!

burns718 wrote:SORRY, admitadly was a lil bit harsh. however i do think he is one of the most overated/ worst players to play for us over last couple of seasons. Always takes to many touches an does not seem to spot the easier more benificial pass, and when will he learn to shoot sure the goal was a panick stricken spasm in his right leg.
u may not agree but hey thas my opinion.
Well actually IMHO he was one of our best players, caused Fulham all sorts of problems when he received the ball, should've had a penalty and scored the winner, what more do you want??? but anyway that's beside the point - you still don't get it do you??? you can critsize a player as harshly as you like on this forum when in your opinion he deserves it, but try do it with a bit of intelligence or style and avoid your previous immature and crude attempts at humour, but somehow looking at the quality of your posts including this one I think that'll probably be beyond you
