I love Hleb

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Go on IHH, he played his heart out today and got a goal to boot. Credit where it's due.

YOU GUYS STILL DON'T GET IT, DO YOU?? IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A KIND OF TRIBUTE TO THE HLEBSTER!!

I TOLD MY MATES AT THE FINAL WHISTLE THAT WHEN I GOT HOME I WOULD GET SOME STICK FROM SOME OF YOU GUYS AND THAT I WOULD BE UNDER SERVERE PRESSURE TO CHANGE MY USERNAME - AGAIN!!

TO BE HONEST, I THOUGHT HLEB HAD A POOR GAME UP UNTIL HE SCORED THE WINNER. HE CERTAINLY MISSED A COUPLE OF EASIER CHANCES THAN THE ONE HE SCORED WITH, AND DIDN'T SHOOT WHEN HE COULD HAVE ON ANOTHER COUPLE OF OCCASIONS. :x

I ALSO MUST ADMIT I WAS LIVID THAT WENGER TOOK ROSICKY OFF INSTEAD OF HLEB, BECAUSE I FELT TOMMY WAS HAVING THE BETTER MATCH AND LOOKED MORE THREATENING. THANKFULLY, IT ALL CAME GOOD IN THE END!! 8)

TELL YOU WHAT I'LL DO LADS. I'LL SET UP A POLL ASKING WHETHER OR NOT I SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME AND RUN IT FOR ONE WEEK. IF THE MAJORITY VOTE FOR ME TO CHANGE MY USERNAME, I WILL. IF THE RESULT IS 'KEEP IT', I HOPE NONE OF YOU CRUNTS EVER HASSLE ME ABOUT IT AGAIN!! 8)

CAN'T SAY FAIRER THAN THAT NOW, CAN I!!

just a bit of fun IHH, nothing wrong with some harmless sledging, maybe ECD should change his name to Eboue doesn't defend (probably appropriate before anyway)

I thought Rosicky was starting to look tired so I think it was the right decision to take him off, Hleb's close control was fantastic today, he should have won us a pen too that was as clear cut as they come!

Hleby was excellent today, much more single minded and direct in his play, scoring the winner, and was denied a stonewall pen today into the bargain, same as pre-season winnin pens and scoring goals, his talent was never in doubt he just had to find that extra something maybe confidence or greed but long may it continue!

MY 400TH POST, AND WHAT AN APPROPRIATE THREAD TO PLACE IT ON AND SUBJECT TO TALK ABOUT!! 8)

HAVING GOT HOME FROM THE MATCH AND THEN SEEN THE EXTENDED HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MATCH ON SKY - WHICH IS FAR BETTER COVERAGE THAN THEM ARSENAL-HATING WANKERS ON THE BBC HAVE JUST SHOWN - I HAVE TO REVISE MY ORIGINAL OPINION ON HLEB'S PERFORMANCE.

HLEB WAS NOT POOR, AS I STATED EARLIER (SOMETIMES IT'S JUST THE BAD THINGS THAT PLAYERS DO WHICH STICK IN ONE'S HEAD!  ).

IN FACT, IN THE FIRST HALF HLEB WAS SUPERB, IF A LITTLE WASTEFUL. IN THE SECOND HALF HE WAS MUCH QUIETER, YET POPPED UP WITH THE WINNER. :o 8)

ON REFLECTION, I CAN'T REALLY COMPLAIN TOO MUCH ABOUT HIS PERFORMANCE AND IN FACT WILL GIVE CREDIT TO MY NEMESIS, AS HE DESERVES IT!! 8)

WELL DONE ALEXANDER HLEB! 8) NOW MAKE SURE YOU KEEP SCORING AND CREATING GOALS FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!
