my 1st away game....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's a local game for Radford, as his IP address is in Liverpool, making Radford a scouser.

Wow, doesn't get much better than beating scum away in your first away game! 8)

Being a northern gooner, most of my early games were at Anfield, Goodison, Old Trafford, Ewood, Maine Rd, etc.

Finally got to THOF in '95 when we beat Bolton on the last day of the season to qualify for the UEFA Cup. Bergkamp and Platt scored late goals to send Highbury delirious. Great memory.

Yep, I can officially confirm that Radford is a scouser.

You'll probably notice it in his posts, as he's always talking bullshit.... it's a scouse trait ya know

My first was a 4-0 victory over Boro on the first day of the season in 2001...went onto win the double that season. I had decided in a 15 year olds mindset I wasn't going to miss an Arsenal game home or away that season as I had a child ticket on the train and matchday tickets....I almost did it!
