As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That is quite an unusual question to ask on an Arsenal supporters forum!
Interesting though.
I wonder if anyone would actually admit to it ?
I'm sure they'd get ripped to pieces by the forums regulars. Can you imagine
GUS gnashing his teeth and snarling, IHH would go into spasms, and I hate to Imagine KAQAK's reaction.
Sod it I'll be the first.
If Arsenal don't win the Premiership title, F.A. cup League cup and the
Champions League this year I'm supporting Chelsea.next year...
That's why i asked, I really don't know what i would do.
I bet if you asked all those Wimbledon fans 10 years ago they would of said no they would never stop supporting Wimbledon but football is a strange game nowadays.
For a long while, and while bemoaning the fact that due to circumstances I never really got an opportunity to play professional, I was never really a football fan ... hated watching games as found I was spending time being too critical of players, and imagining I would do much better than them, etc etc ...
When I began watching footie again, although arsenal were one of the teams I developed a soft sport for immediately (and this was in the days of 1-nil to the arsenal), I sat on the fence for a while (a long while) ... I am only really became a passionate supporter of arsenal a few years ago ...
Now, there is just no way I can support or love another club like the arse again .. never again ...

The greed and commercialisiation are the sorts of things that could drive me away from football in general, but I don't think I could ever really support a team other than the Arse.
I just can't help thinking that one day the money-fuelled merry-go-round that is the Premiership is going to stop, all the brilliant players we've seen over the last 10 years or so (Henry, Zola, Cantona, di Canio etc) will go elsewhere, and we'll be left with a lower quality but less disgusting English game.
bang on the money mate!! thats what i was trying to say but u certainly summed it up perfectly. Greed and commercialisation are taking over, and yes, i too dread a day when it all finally collapses around us, leaving clubs in chaos - prob the same day it takes off in america!!
Never say never though think it would take an MK done situation and then one can argue that the Wimbledon Supporters are still in love with the club, after all MK Dons only came into exisistence a few years ago whereas AFC have a long history including the 1988 Fa Cup win

So you saying if Arsenal became AFC Arsenal in Rayman premier league you would support them?
I think that most would agree but it must of been a wierd situation to be in.
Also if you go on MK Dons website they have no history but AFC Wimbledon do
It depends, I wouldn't in the Man U situation but would in the MK Dons situation. Bad chairman and debt are part of parcel of football sadly, having your club uprooted from one city to another and changing the name utterly nowdays seems too much
