http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 64,00.htmlKlaas-Jan Huntelaar has admitted he might have to leave AC Milan to secure regular football, although he would be open to a loan move so he can still have a future with the Italian club.
The Dutch striker has struggled to make much of an impact since joining the Rossoneri from Real Madrid last summer.
He held positive talks with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani before Christmas but first-team opportunities have still been limited.
Huntelaar is now considering his options as he has been told he will not go to the World Cupwith Holland unless he is performing at club level.
The 26-year-old feels that a loan deal could be one solution to his problem but he would still like to play in a top division.
"I'm thinking of leaving," Huntelaar, who has been linked with a switch to the Premier League, told Telegraaf.
"When I spoke with officials, they comforted me and said they have faith in me. I played a little more, but I want more.
"It's important for me because, as our national team coach explained to me, to go with the national team it's important to play a lot for your club.
"I would like to stay in an important league to show I can be a player for Milan. I'd like to be loaned and then come back."
He is low on confidence with 13games 7 of which are from the subs bench and 3goals.
If any team can give him the ball right infront of the goalie it is us.
Huntelaar is a better technical player than Greedy and if he(Klaas) cant succeed at Arsenal then he is another Kezman/Kuijt in the making.
We dont need to buy a striker since its clear Arsene doesn't want to "stunt the growth" of our current players, but surely a loan move would suffice.

We are one top class striker away from winning the league. We will always create chances. Sometimes it'll be 10, sometimes 2, but we just have to buy to give ourselves a big chance of the title.
However there are now only 12 days to go and the more we keep winning, the more Wenger will say we don't need to buy. Surely he must learn from 2008. Bendtner will never make it at Arsenal so buy now and then flog him in the summer to cover the costs.
Come on Arsene, pull your fookin cheque book out of your pocket

Personally I would sign huntellar on a 6 month loan deal with an agreed price in the summer if he did well in that time. In theory that would then free up the fcunds to buy a quality keeper and either another DM or CB this month - might I suggest that gago at £7.5m (figure quoted the other day) would be a good piece of business for that DM spot

How's wenger know bendtner will be ready for the villa game as he has lapsed once already? He should get Hunntelaar on loan as there is a good chance of actually winning it this time!!!!!We have been LUCKY so-far without a main striker, so wenger bite the bullet and stop relying on lady luck and get the lad in.PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
There's the world cup coming up so he want to impress for that plus he might be such a success that we buy him as he's not having a good time at Milan.

it usually takes time for a player to settle in england. huntelaar didn't find his game in spain nor italy, so i don't believe he'd start scoring like a madmen at the toughest league there is, specially in 6 months, and specially since the most important games of the season are less than a month away.
for long-term, if you trust his ability, huntelaar is ok. i would never take him on a loan. wouldn't adapt in time.

Normally dutch players adapt quite quickly to the english game as it is a very similar league in terms of style of football so in my opinion it wouldnt be a question of if he can adapt or not. That of course means that the only question remaining is whether he is good enough or not and personally I believe he is but I also feel that if there are any doubts then take him on loan with a view to buying him in the summer

i disagree there, augie. the greatest football player ever was a dutchman and took a while to find his football at arsenal. so did rvp, even though he was too young to compare. and dennis he had a lot more class than huntelaar, it should be easier for man who had so much technique and quality.augie wrote: Normally dutch players adapt quite quickly to the english game as it is a very similar league in terms of style of football so in my opinion it wouldnt be a question of if he can adapt or not.

I don't see the point in bringing him in.. as B raz says after the catastrophe at madrid now followed on by another at milan his confidence is going to be at rock bottom, so he is not the ideal player to take on loan especially being a striker.
I always had my doubts if he had what it took to make it in the prem, even while he was firing on all cylinders in Holland, i wouldn't touch him with a barge pole now not even on loan..
