1-0 TO THE ARSENAL

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There's no doubt IMO young Schmeichel has definately been getting the rub of the green and has fluffed quite a few balls and his record has more to do with playin behind a very good defence, than him bein anywhere near as good has his pop, but he comes across as a pretty decent lad in his interviews so I hope he does improve with experience!

For a defence that was thrown together in the span of about 20 minutes I thought we played very well. Flamini looked out of position a few times but he still performed brilliantly covering for Sagna.

Hleb made that run down the right so many times and all his passes were cut off till the goal. I kept yelling at every run to shoot but I must admit I'm glad he didn't at that time. I'd still argue that if he shot earlier, he could've got a goal or a decent chance at a rebound.

Adebayor is either getting lazier or is still not up to par after the injury.

Eduardo sure passed the ball a lot for someone who is supposed to be a goal poacher. The passes were mostly give aways too! Hopefully he's just learning the ropes and will soon gather the courage to make a run at the defenders.

Everyone else I think performed brilliantly.

I wouldn't say they were that good GH, but hey, three points is three points.

Just hope we keep winning and have no more injuries :)

I couldn't agree more. It would've been nice to have won all three games if Lehmann would've made that save!
