Post by Ben-gooner14 »

Listened to game on 5 live sounded like a total anilation, but the good thing was that last year we wouldn't of scored and man city would of with there only chance.

Yeah watched in on some very bizzarre stream off of the net with a running pitch battle from the streamer scrolling a torrent of abuse to us viewers across the screen. Was most odd.

The match? Yeah played well, kept City very quiet indeed. Should have won far more comfortably. Kasper in their goal had a GREAT game. Fair play to the lad, kept us at bay and then nearly scored with a header from a corner in the 92nd min!

Overall, a good performance, 3 good points. Still usual problems though 20 chances... 1 goal.

Those messages must have covering your entire screen O'Leary!

Firstly, WELL DONE ARSENAL. 1-0 WIN with front 2 looking off the pace and flamini/bert at the back. Not bad!

It was, for me, overall a below average performance.

Their keeper was terrible whenever the ball was thrown into the box and he didn't have that many saves to make! How can you say he had a great game?? As for the penalty, a fucking 2 yr old could've saved it.

And we didn't have alot of chances to score - not good, clear cut as we usually do!

I would find another stream to watch if I were you.

had the same problems O'Leary..

Game was one sided apart from about a 15 minute period in the 2nd half, plenty of chances and it was a bit too similar to last year for my liking.
Job done though, win our game in hand by more than one goal and we're top..

he had a good game i wouldn't say GREAT because i don't think we had many on target with any real chance

Exactly. I wouldn't even say he had a particularly good game. Yes, he saved a penalty, but it was hardly an amazing pen. Also, whenever a cross was chucked in to the box, he looked really suspect. He also seemed like he was hamming it up for the cameras at the end. The media will go nuts for him now only to break him after his first mistake.

He seems to have the luck of his father

I do believe though that he will be a good keeper one day, maybe never as great as his dad but you never know.
He has been thrown in at the deepend and so far done a good job, with a bit of luck along the way

Would also like to add to the fact that we beat a 'GOOD' City side today, a team much better than the team that beat Utd last week.
City was very lucky to beat Utd last week but managed it, today they played much better football and defended alot tighter that they did against Utd, yes i think we should have got more goals but also City had a few good chances to score, but we managed to keep a clean sheet and put one past them  unlike Utd, so i'm going to look at this win as a very positive win :D 8)
