FAV AWAY GROUND VISITED

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My favourite experience in a way is the "old fashioned" experience at the Everton ground, with its wooden seats that seem to have been designed for anorexic mice.

The craic up at Everton is always good- there is no real animosity and the banter is fun. That kind of old stadium will be gone in 10 years' time.

"You're the spurs of Merseyside!"
"Grandad - give us a wave!"
"Fat boy! Give us a wave!"

Ah yes goodison the ground thats concourse look like a victorian prison!
what a hole!,
Anfield - nice ground has character to it.
Old trafford big but full of southern glory hunters
Shite hart lane - dont bomb the middle east bomb spurs
JJB stadium - alright nothing special
Reebok Stadium - deceptive and full of *unts! that mascot and drummer of theirs needs a few smacks in the head
Blackburn - another inbred hole
Birmingham city - refuse to go on principle with their cheeky ticket prices
City of manc stadium - smaller version of the grove... pretty decent ground
Craven cottage - needs major modernisation
Madejski - I quite like it actually for some reason
Fratton Park - great atmosphere shite away end but still a great laugh
Villa Park - not too bad
Millennium stadium - I'll never go there again after the bloody nightmare of a train journey (arriva bastards!)

Couldn't agree more on the Blackburn front. I actually hated that place!

But i really enjoyed Cardiff, fantasic day out, great atmosphere, great game (except the result)
Mind you we drove up so didn't get stuck on the train.

My line that i've been to so far that i can remember

OT: A crap stadium & very much overated, no space around
Anfield: already said
The Lane: Not been there for a Arsenal v Tottenham game sadly & not allowed to but total shit hole
Upton Park: Not been there for a Arsenal v West Ham game but the Dr Martins stand is nice but then again i wonder what the rest is like
Barnet: Well if i go i put up with it ;)
Amsterdam: I hate going up the fucking staris there & the last year at Highbury my Dad was tried off going up the ones in the East Upper but i always said at least it ain't the Amsterdam arena, a stadium which i thought would of been better but then again i was in the away end covered up & didn't get a lookie round it sadly
Goodinson: Well i went on the wrong day freezeing my ass off & forgetting to being a jacket & it's quite strange with the toliets being the smallest i've ever seen at a stadium
City of Manchester: A nice stadium with loads of room like the Grove. Outside the compilex though it's just the same as the whole of Manchester, shit hole
Stade de france: always wanted to go to this & got a ticket to the final which i thought it was shite despite being kinda newish, hardly any toliets there as well (i'm judgeing stadiums by toliets lol), the seat weren't very nice to sit on (good view though)
Cardiif: I liked it as i thought it was easy getting around it & enjoyed the 2007 final aveing a good ammount of time looking around the shops which was a change, i'll miss cup finals there as it'll no longer be a real day out. The only downer was the only time i sat in the lower bit as i thought it was a shitty concourse which made it look older than it is
New Wembley: Anytime i get tickets i keep going there, 4 times i've been now & i think it's lovley
Still problems with it esp with the transport on the way hoem with the England night games i've been at which is a bastard, same ol Wembley
It's massive the concourse's & the posh bit where the tunneral is the bollocks as he seats are the best i've ever sat in & i kept getting free England v Spain under 16 programmes, if only if i sat there on cup final day lol
Old Wembley: I love this place & miss it very much as the twin towers were brillant & it's a shame they didn't keep them
I wisghed i had photos when i went on the tour there :(
Highbury: special & wonderful

I dont like going to the cottage because I'm sure that stand will collapse when I'm there.

Nou Camp-Barcelona 1999 miles up in the gods it took half an hour to make it to our seats, but what a stadium and what an atmosphere. And we got a 1-1 draw

valencia's mestalla. did it twice. results not good, but atmosphere and steepness of stands absolutely cracking.

if we are including stadiums arsenal haven't played in there are many other fantastic grounds i've had the pleasure to watch world cup and euros in. but for an arsenal away, the mestalla. sad to hear they are actually looking to build a new ground. will go over there for a valencia game before it disappears.
